If so is it just like the drivers sometimes are totally incompetent or can y'all not see the same map that the ppl who order see?? BC I will have problems with these ppl finding my apartment and then I will check the map and they are fully like 4 buildings away from mine and the map is super accurate????

as a doordasher, the map isnt ALWAYS accurate. especially at apartment buildings/condos. So usually you have to go with your gut on whether you trust the map.
I had a lady last night order, give me two different gate codes in the instructions, and neither of them worked. I tried calling her 4 times and she wouldnt answer. doordash support told me leave it outside of the gate and send the picture of the food. so she might as well have just gone to mcdonalds herself
Yes it's the same map but some people may be using a different gps app - i believe you could use whichever and set it as your default or something? It's been a few years for me tho
i don’t doordash but i will occasionally do instacart when im bored on weekends. i’ve never understood how people delivery to wrong houses but ik there are times either the customer or driver put the wrong address into the app. To answer the map question though in the app yes it’s the game thing but where it becomes different is if the delivery person uses google maps, apple, waze, etc.
