Clay is the Ground type gym leader of Driftveil City in the games Black, White, Black 2 & White 2, where his team is Krokorok, Palpitoad & Excadrill in Black & White, while he has team of Krokorok, Sandslash & Excadrill in Black 2 & White 2, like most past Unova leaders, I prefer his Black 2 & White 2 team a bit more just because Sandslash is better than Palpitoad in every way, shape and form. Now, Clay is another Unova gym leader who has a great design, from the male unova leaders, Clay's character design is by far my favorite, however, not my favorite character design of Unova in general. As well, his gym puzzle is alright, I believe it's just walking down a path, but some of the path is covered in darkness so you can't see it fully, been a while since I last played through the Unova games, so don't fully remember his gym puzzle. Overall, Clay is great, I just felt that Clay wasn't quite top 20 worthy, so that's why I am choosing to rank out Clay right before my top 20.
