Angela Perkins is an Army veteran and a castaway from Survivor: Ghost Island.
Angela was part of the dominant Naviti tribe, where she aligned herself in the majority alliance led by Chris Noble. With survival experience, she thought of herself as an asset to the tribe, which won the first two immunity challenges. Due to growing tensions between Domenick and Chris, during a tribe swap, Dom and his faction of Navitis wished to blindside Chris. With him being sent to Ghost Island, they decided to weaken him by voting out Angela and to keep themselves safe. Fortunately for her, the blindside against her failed, as Morgan was blindsided instead. On Day 10, she was swapped to the Malolo tribe, where she joined the others in blindsiding James.
Angela made the merge, but was more distant to her former allies, whom tried to eliminate her. She reunited with Chris briefly, before he was sent to the jury. Despite opportunities otherwise, Angela remained loyal to her Naviti allies, including Dom and Wendell, voting in the majority most of the time. This allowed her to make the final 4. Dom opted to take Laurel to the final 4 after winning the challenge, leaving Angela to face off against Wendell in the fire-making challenge, which she lost, eliminating her from the game on Day 38, becoming the tenth and then final jury member at the time. Her vote for Wendell resulted in him tying with Dom, allowing him to secure Laurel鈥檚 vote in order to win the game. https://media.giphy.com/media/4HgpRCqww08bngqXPO/giphy.gif
Angela currently runs her own construction management company. She served as an Adjutant General Officer in the U.S. Army for 21 years (between 1993 to 2014) for the 15th Psychological Battalions and was second in command for a time while she served in Afghanistan. While serving overseas, she sometimes went weeks having to use bottled water as a means to shower, sometimes having to opt between drinking for nourishment or bathing for hygiene. She got her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in 2009, later getting her Master鈥檚 in business administration. After working for the U.S. Army, she worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. At age 42, Angela was the oldest castaway on Ghost Island, which makes her the youngest person with that distinction out of any season.
