imageIn preparation for Survivor 35: Heroes vs. Healers, vs. Hustlers, I decided to do some pre-show first impression blogs for the upcoming cast. There are obvious cast and tribe division spoilers (but no boot/elimination spoilers). Basically, judge them based on first impressions, already leaked Survivor videos of them (pre-show interviews, season 34 finale promo) or whatever criteria you wish.

Occupation: Graduate Student
Education: Vanderbilt University, B.A. American Studies

Roark is already known to some of the Survivor community from appearing on Corinne Kaplan and Max Dawson's Survivor ATF Podcast, appearing in several episodes as "Patron Roark". This led to her becoming friends with Corinne herself. She is currently working on getting her Masters in Social Work at the University of Southern California and has previously done work in the fashion and retail industry. Roark considers herself a Survivor super-fan.
