Zane was a castaway for Survivor: Philippines and was a member of the Matsing Tribe. By the first couple of days, he made an alliance with every member of his tribe, approaching the ladies for alliances, as well as making a three person alliance with Malcolm and Russell. He told the men he made alliances with the girls, so they鈥檇 have a 4th vote if needed, making Malcolm question his trust in Zane. Malcolm informed Denise of Zane鈥檚 scheming. In the very first immunity challenge of the season, Zane struggled at the challenge, requiring Russell to drag him to the end. After the challenge, Zane asked his tribe to vote him out. He did this as part of a strategy, to see who wanted him there or not. He credited quitting cigarettes cold turkey the day before they arrived as the reason why he struggled at the challenge. Zane was unanimously voted out in a 5-1 vote on day 3, becoming the very first person voted out of Survivor: Philippines.
