Kat was a castaway originally from Survivor: One World. She would later return for Survivor: Blood vs. Water where she would play with her then-boyfriend Hayden Moss.
On One World, Kat quickly was recruited to join the majority alliance on the all-female tribe, which comprised of Chelsea, Sabrina, Alicia, and Kim. Young and perceived as na茂ve, when the girls had to vote out their first tribe member, Nina campaigned for Kat to go home for not following instructions, only for Kat鈥檚 alliance to protect her and send Nina home. Kat remained on Salani during a tribe swap, and their immunity run allowed her to easily make the merge. When Kim didn鈥檛 take her on reward after promising her she would, Kat was extremely upset, which Troy tried to manipulate in order to get Kat to turn on Kim, which ultimately didn鈥檛 work. Kat won the loved one challenge on Day 31 and picked Alicia and Kim to spend time with their loved ones as well. This pissed off Sabrina, who felt Tarzan and Christina should鈥檝e been picked instead, and the 3 started plotting against Kat. Things were made worse when Kat failed to beat Kim at the immunity challenge and didn鈥檛 high-5 her. Alicia then came up with the idea to vote out Kat, but Kim wanted to vote out Sabrina instead as a bigger threat. Chelsea criticized Kat at Tribal for using her age as an excuse. Before voting began, Kat said blindsides were fun, only to be blindsided herself in a unanimous vote, sobbing as she walked to Ponderosa. At Final Tribal Council, Kat shocked everyone by revealing she had open heart surgery and would have it again soon at age 24 and encouraged the jury to forgive and not be angry, in one of the most iconic FTC of the modern Survivor era. She ended up voting for Kim.
Kat was asked to return to Survivor: Blood vs. Water. She originally wanted to appear with her cousin, but he was unable to play. So she picked her sister, who couldn鈥檛 play. Then her dad was offered a spot, but he flat out refused. Desperate to get on, she went with her 4th choice, her Big Brother-winning boyfriend Hayden (who had originally applied to Survivor anyways). On BVW, Kat was placed on the Galang tribe with former tribe mate Monica. Right away, Colton spread rumors that Kat and Tina were fighting, although nobody believed him. Unfortunately, an alliance formed without her in it, although she was unaware, believing that the two Lauras were the only outsiders. On Day 14, a tribe swap occurred, leaving her on Galang. The women wanted to target Vytas, but Kat herself was annoyed by Monica, so she suggested to Tina they vote her out. Tina ran to Monica and told her of Kat鈥檚 plan, leading Monica to confront her, which Kat denied. Monica felt betrayed by Kat and rallied everyone to vote her out unanimously, sending her to Redemption Island. Kat begged Hayden to take her spot on Redemption Island, but he refused, saying he had a better chance of winning than she did, which she agreed. She was unable to beat John Cody or Laura Morett, permanently sending Kat home in 14th place. She memorably cried about how Hayden wouldn鈥檛 want to date someone who didn鈥檛 even make the jury. About a year after Blood vs. Water aired, her fears were confirmed when they broke up in 2014. Kat is the youngest returning player ever. She remains on great terms with Kim, even taking a letter written by her and a photo of the two of them as her BVW luxury item.

Zuelke ehh.. I mean, i think their relationship was legit, if anything, Kat drug him out as a last ditch resort to be on the season, since all her other options weren't able to. And the producers cast that season less due to the returnee's impact on the show, but how interesting their loved ones are, so I wouldn't put it past the producers to be the ones to push Kat to do it with Hayden.
