Lindsey was part of the young person alliance on Samburu and enjoyed their early winning streak and targeted the elders when they did lose. However, a tribe swap sent Silas to Boran, with 3 former Boran tribe joining Samburu. Lindsay had votes cast against her during the Carl vote off, so based on the tiebreaker rules, past votes were counted against them during a tie. With 3 Samburu-3 Boran, the votes were definitely going to tie, so the Samburu 3 tried to convince the Boran 3 that Brandon had past votes against him. They didn鈥檛 believe him, instead voting for Lindsay, which resulted in her going home during a tiebreaker. She is the last person (out of three total) to be eliminated due to the previous vote rule and she had more votes cast against her this season than any other, the only pre-merge evictee who can claim that distinction.
