I genuinely think Paul deserved to lose, especially since he brought Nicole to Final 2.
Reason #1: Paul was a loudmouth and an a-hole. He was actively vocal against the vets from Day 1. His filthy mouth upset Natalie and Zakiyah and he refused to apologize to Natalie, claiming it's just his personality. This is simply poor social game.
Reason #2: Paul had a bad social game in a sense. He was nominated 6 TIMES!!! That's approximately once every two and a half weeks. He gave Nicole, Corey, Paulie, Natalie, Michelle and Bridgette ALL a reason to nominate him. That to me isn't good social game.
Reason #3: I doubt he would've made it so far into the game if Victor didn't come back twice. He totally benefitted from that, which isn't his fault, but Nicole didn't benefit from twists.
Reason #4: Nicole was a badass. You didn't watch BB18 if you think Nicole was bad. She won the first HOH and nominated Paulie, who still kept her safe the entire game. That is hard to execute. She then won HOH/POV at Final 7 and made a brilliant move by getting Michelle out. She then won the POV in F5 to take Victor out. She was nominated for the first time on DAY 92. Girl worked her ass off to win. If someone manages to make it 3 months without being nominated, won 5 competitions and played a great strategic game, I don't get how you can say they only won because the jury was bitter, I just can't.
