This one is dedicated to Mr. Baseball himself, a legend in every right and a sure to be first ballot hall of fame pick, Derek Jeter has played his entire career with the New York Yankees, a feat which is more unusual than the norm these days.
While his entire career could run like a non stop high-light reel, it's hard to pick a moment that so defines him. The consummate teammate, one who never dabbled in drugs or the glorification of the hollywood athlete who only followed the money, while simultaneously dating some of THE hottest women around, Jeter is one classy guy.
This season will be similar to last when Mo was honoured at every ball park the Yankees went to. Teams are sure to pay tribute to Jeter, one of the greatest players ever, and his iconic number 2.
Please note I am NOT a yankees fan, but as a fan of baseball, I tip my hat to the Yanks captain :)
