I know the mods are busy handling their own stuff, and this is why I think Tengaged needs its own Games Coordinator who can focus primarily on giving users chances to participate in special games with great prizes.
As an over 8-year member of Tengaged, I have seen where the interests of the website lie and how we can improve activity. Honestly, Stars: Winners At War was the most active and unified I've seen this website in a while, and I think the way to bring that back is to have routine events to keep up the interest of users.
I'm no rookie to hosting, either. I hosted the Professional #FrookiesLeague, which tracked the placements in frookies of all users for a month and rewarded the ultimate top 5 with T$ prizes totaling 1100T$ over all. And on my old account, I hosted the #TengagedPopularityTournament, a huge tournament of 256 participants that showed users face off in 255 total 1v1 polls to crown the most popular user on Tengaged.
I know rebelman2227 and survivorofthetocans have great statistics for rankings and placements of stars, unkown had very detailed statistics about average placement for stars for every user, and krisstory I've heard is releasing his top 50 stars players of all time. Considering all of these, there are a TON of data to base stars ability and special games off of and if someone just spent the time and energy into making special games more eye-catching, it will greatly help the interest on tengaged.
There are several types of special stars that immediately pop into my head. Ideally, special stars would be once every two months probably.
- Best to Never Win Stars (taken from the best average - unkown had statistics on this - 12 would be by best average, and 4 would be by tengaged vote within reason)
- Rewind Stars (Tengaged votes on a stars game they want to go back in time to play again and see if there is a different result)
- Noob Stars (either never played stars or got a double digit placement on the only stars game theyve played)
- Anonymous Stars (users enter a raffle which randomly picks 16 stars partipants and gives them an alternate account so that the public doesnt know who they are. if someone is caught giving away their identity they are auto-evicted)
- Public Stars (Tengaged votes on 16 players to join stars, then they get to vote on who is nominated. anyone caught spamming is auto-evicted)
- Stars: Heroes vs Villains (Tengaged's 8 greatest heroes and 8 greatest villains are put into a game to see what happens)
- Fastings All Stars (the 16 winners of fastings games will all be put into a stars game)
I also think bringing back something similar to PFL will be beneficial to the website. At least something special with fastings, frookies, and/or castings. I can brainstorm about this later.
But yeah I think you guys should certainly consider this or even just a games coordinator in general to help with special events. It would definitely help out activity on Tengaged brandonpinzukoolness234cheapcheep

smoothstalker12 thank you! Some of the ideas I just came up with on my own, probably only 3-4 of those have been mentioned before. The reason I included those is because it seems like there are a lot of interest in those special games and it would attract a lot of potential players and a big audience
