Fall 2017 Anime Mini-Reviews:

Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte kara Episode 1:

From what I've seen, not bad!! I'm probably not going to drop this because it's a nice funny short that you can watch once a week.
This episode: 6/10

Juuni Taisen Episode 1:

I'm impressed. Very impressed. It has a lot of things that I like in it, manipulative character, insane character which is actually somewhat clever, violence with blood, battle royale... I could go on. I highly doubt the boar is dead, since she was literally the main character from the beginning.
This episode: 9/10

Konohana Kitan Episode 1:

I liked it. The music was great. Overall it was very peaceful, and a good episodic(?) anime that only comes on once a week :P
This episode: 6.5/10

Ousama Game Episode 1:

So far very good. Only one problem, and that's the studio only making an anime of the sequel and NOT THE DAMN FIRST ONE. Oh well, atleast I know what happens after everyone but Nobuaki died!!!

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou Episode 1:

This show... I'm calling it from here, this is going to be my favourite anime of the whole season by a long shot. The animation fits so well, characters are funny, a beautiful world to explore, only two people left on the planet... I could go on for ages! Forgot to mention, it's also made by my favourite anime studio, White Fox.

Just Because! Episode 1:

Well, I checked this out just because.. but now I'm glad I checked this out! It's kind of like a normal school/romance anime, but 10x better. The animation is amazing, I really like the two male characters and the rest of them I'm sure will be good characters! Can't wait for more!

Net-juu no Susume Episode 1:

Well, It's just a normal MMO anime, but I kind of enjoyed it because the two mc's are both using the opposite genre and are falling in love. A bit cringey at times, so I paused it once and cringed (NOT AS MUCH AS ORANGE), but I guess it's okay. One thing though, it's not realistic. If it was, she would have been called a noob, and a retard at the beginning, then a Try hard at the end.

Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World [REBOOT] Episode 1:

I haven't watched the first anime, but I've heard many great things about it. Even though this is a reboot, I still really enjoyed the first episode. As someone who knows people who have travelled to many countries, I kind of enjoyed this, and can't wait to watch more.

Taishou Chicchai-San Episode 1:

Well, I don't HATE Shounen-Ai anime, but this was just retarded. I mean, I might watch episode 2 to see what happens next, but overall it's meh.

Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru [PREQUEL] Episode 1:

I haven't even watched the series that was made before this, but I couldn't be bothered to watch that just for this show. It's what you call very mediocre. Think of Madoka Magica, then take out all of the twists, characters dying, dark parts... you get this. Not very great if you ask me.

Sengoku Night Blood Episode 1:

I don't understand why it's rated so poorly. It wasn't the best, but it was definitely enough to make me want to watch the next episode. So, finding out they were a clan of vampires was a shock, and that he was going to suck out her blood!!! Well, I guess it's alright. I know some Japanese historical figures so I recognized some names.

Omiai Aite wa Oshiego, Tsuyokina, Mondaiji Episode 1:

LOL JAPAN ARE SO CLEVER! This is a hentai. Nothing more, nothing less! Somehow, it slipped into the TV anime section that comes out once a week and on TV itself! Madness!!!

Dies Irae Episode 0:

What the fuck did I just watch?!?! I don't understand anything! Some dude can tell the future and read minds, some dude is powerful as fuck, powerful as fuck dude has servants, two villians, busty chick, busty chick father... and at the end they are all madly powerful and strange??? This is literally bullshit. I'll give it another go since that was an episode 0(????), so hopefully they explain SOMETHING. ANYTHING. P.S. the animation is shit.

Urahara Episode 1:

Lol, I can literally say that this is the strangest anime I have ever watched in my life. It's all over the place. Aliens called scoopers come along and sweep buildings off the planet, girls who work at a store don't want to evacuate because they love the town, girls turn into magical girl type things and beat them, a talking scarf..? This is madness. There was one plus though, and that was the art style.

Tsukipro The Animation Episode 1:

So far, it's not that bad tbh. I'm not into all that idol stuff, but I can look past that for this show since it's slightly different than all idol shows I've watched. Nothing amazing, but it's alright.

Black Clover Episode 1:

Let me tell you something, this is much more than a shounen like Naruto. I will admit, it's not as good as some... but it is still great. The studio did a shit job in finding a voice actor though, and the director must be shit in telling the voice actor to scream every second. I read the first 9 chapters of the manga so I know that it'll start getting better and better in a couple of episodes, can't wait for this because I love underdog stories!

Garo: Vanishing Line Episode 1:

So far, I an say that it has the best animation of this season, and possibly of the year. The fights were really well made, and just watching this got my interested in the other Garo anime! Can't wait for more. I didn't expect any better from studio Mappa.

Pingu in the City Episode 1:

I still can't believe this is an anime. AN ANIME. AN ANIME!!!!! This was literally my favourite show for like 2 years when I was younger. I guess you could say, I learnt a new language called "NOOT"!! The translator be like "Easiest money I've ever made"... but seriously, I quite enjoyed it because of nostalgia!!

Blend S Episode 1:

Lol, I really laughed out loud (pun unintended)! So far, this looks like it could be comedy anime of the season for me. It doesn't deserve such a bad rating. I liked the MCs, and especially when the main character acts sadistic when talking to the manager. I feel bad for the manager... getting called an Ogre, getting sat on and kicked.. I feel for the guy. Hopefully it stays funny for episode 2!

Two Car Episode 1:

So far, I can tell that it is a car racing anime which is pretty cool. I don't really like the fact that the MC's don't like each other, like how they knocked each other out at the end. If it's all races, I'll be sticking around for a while!

Kekkai Sensen & Beyond Episode 1:

It's back!!! One of my favourite anime is back!!! I was definitely not disappointed with what I got from this episode. This anime literally has my humor all over it. It felt like a short episode like 5 minutes long, now I want more! I still think Leonardo and Zapp are amazing, with all the other characters included. Can't wait for more!

Dynamic Chord Episode 1:

Didn't really enjoy this. It's just a plain boring idol/singing band anime. Not the best I've seen at all and was bored through out all of the episode. I even skipped some parts (mainly the scenes when the ost plays). I'll stick around for the next episode just to see what's up with the lead singer. and why he resigned.

Animegataris Episode 1:

Wow, so far it was pretty cool! It's literally about anime fans created by anime fans talking about anime in an anime club. It looks like it may have a darker side to it judging from the last part of the episode with the hat. Haven't got much else to say, just ready for the next episode!!

Himouto! Umaru-chan R Episode 1:

So far, so good! It's good to have Umaru coming back, because I haven't seen her in almost 2 years! I'm really liking how they're taking Umaru's character this season, she's kind of getting somewhat better with the things she struggled with last season. I also love how she is not as rude and bad towards her brother, because that literally made me drop the 1st season for a while, but watched the rest a month later when I was sick. Hope they continue making it like this!
This episode: 8/10

Ancient Magus Bride Episode 1:

I'm amazed. It had been on my plan to read for a long time, but I saw that there was an anime coming out, so I waited. I am so glad I waited. This is going to be the best anime of the season and one of the best this year. I really like Elias's personality, and I'm interested in Chise's backstory a lot! Can't wait to see their journey together and if she'll become a great mage!
This episode: 10/10

Land Of The Lustrous Episode 1:

I was amazed with this. I'd heard of the manga recently, but saw that it was getting an anime adaptation so I didn't read it. I am now glad I didn't read it then, because it was a really good first episode! I love how they're all jewels and if they shatter than can be put back together, or chipped if poisoned. I really liked this, and I swear this reminded me of Rwby ALOT. The animation was great aswell. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Imouto sae Ireba Ii Episode 1:

Lol, wow. I remember watching 20 seconds of this and I instantly closed the tab. Now 2 days after, I sat down and decided I'd get it out of the way. I don't actually think it is that bad, to be honest. I'm interested in the girl that loves the mc though, it looks like she has a good-ish backstory... well, I would have enjoyed it more if the mc wasn't obsessed with little sisters, it's just cringey.
This Episode: 7/10

Code: Realize: Sousei no Himegimi Episode 1:

I thought it'd be a shounen, but I suppose a shoujo could be good... right? I wasn't really blown away by this first episode, but I like how it's based in London! I'm pretty sure the creators of this based it on Black Butler or are huge fans of it, because the three male mcs literally each look like 3 characters from black butler. Atleast it's not all posh here like annoying dick heads say England is!
This Episode: 6/10

Children of the Wales Episode 1:

So far, this is really unique. I really enjoyed the first episode, and I really like the main characters. The world they are in seems really big, and they need to explore more to find other living beings. I'm really interested in where they are going to go next, and in what's up with the elders and the girl.

Evil or Live Episode 1:

Wow... what a bad, bad topic to discuss. The people who are addicted to the internet are sent to a rehab school and then even beaten by the instructor. Funny thing is, they don't need to be in this rehab school. They need something to do with mental health. I guess I'll continue.

This is kind of trash. Also, wasn't expecting to watch the uncensored version. I might only finish the series because of the length being around 3 minutes.

I guess it isn't as funny as I expected, but it's cool if you want to know a bit more about alcohol I guess, and it's only 3 minutes! I'll only carry on watching because of it being very short.

Sengoku Night Blood Episode 2:

I actually quite enjoyed this episode! So, he's gone straight up and asked her to marry him, didn't expect it that soon!! It seems like a couple of other people are into her too, so that'll get complicated! I guess this show can actually get slightly dark at times then, since it's got some monster type beings that can't die. I wonder what will happen next... *cough* she says yes at the end obviously *cough*.

Juuni Taisen Episode 2:

Holy shit this is the 3rd best anime of the year so far!!! I swear to god this is madness! Boar has been killed off just like that, even with all of her screen time last episode. I really liked the dog aswell, too bad he was killed by his own game and manipulation. His death left me in shock though, she literally just squeezed his face and his head got squashed into blood. I love most of the characters that have had a speaking time so far, just not a fan of the money and her ways. Can't wait to see who wins, this is madness! P.S I love the opening.

Urahara Episode 2:

To be honest, this is one of the most boring series of Fall 2017, though it is very unique in it's own way. I think I might just have to drop this show soon, since it's just going no where and it's just all over the place and crazy. We'll see when the next episode comes out.

Tsukipro the Animation Episode 2:

So now I know that each episode will feature a different band. I actually quite liked this episode, it's not all just about singing and all that bs, it actually features the problems of the band when not on stage and what their lives are like. I liked episode 1 more, but I liked the characters in this episode. I'll be sure to watch more.

Konohana Kitan Episode 2:

Again, it was quite an enjoyable episode. We got to see a lot of development between the two main characters, and we got a backstory for Satsuki, which was pretty cool. It is very nice to watch this once a week, for a break from all the suspense/horror/action anime.

Ousama Game Episode 2:

Holy shit, this was the 2nd best episode of all of fall 2017 so far falling behind Juuni Taisen's 2nd episode. I got to see my favourite characters animated! ANIMATED! I loved how the flashback showed all of chapters 1-3 and basically the beginning of the first season. I liked Daisuke, I thought he'd legit be one of the last people left. But I need to talk about this. Natsuko is mental. Holy shit, I didn't expect that in a million years away, it's like Akashi from Kuroko's basketball. He has two sides, and suddenly he swapped, unable to turn back into his former self. Although this is different, instead of turning kind of bad, she was bad to begin with. I'm pretty sure she's going to die at the end though. Only issue is that the studio animating this made Nobuaki kind of weak-ish, where as in the manga he was literally the leader of all of the class and stood up to guide them.
This episode: 10/10

Inuyashiki Episode 1:

God damn I am glad I didn't read the manga before the anime came out... I expected this show to be above average, but I got more than that. It's literally old man Robocop. The animation and soundtrack are amazing, nothing less from MAPPA. This is probably one of the shows that will make people remember Fall 2017 as a good season. Can't wait for what happens next, and especially when the teenager and Inuyashiki have to battle against each other!
This episode: 9/10

Just Because Episode 2:

Another great episode! I found it funny that she didn't even see it as a confession or date and even brought her brothers there. At least all went well! I wonder what Natsume means by "If you tell him I'll beat you to a pulp" though. Well, this is one of the few series of Fall 2017 I'm almost certain I'll make it to the end, so can't wait for what's to come.

Taishou Chicchai-san Episode 2:

Lol tbh there's nothing really to say about this. I don't like BL, I don't like short anime (unless they're amazing [Saiki-kun]) or characters always in chibi form. Even worse is that I'm watching this when I'm feeling sick rn. If nothing else happens this is a total drop or on-hold if I'm very bored one day.

Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou Episode 2:

Yet again, I expected no better from White Fox animating this amazing show. In my top 5 from this season already. Also, gotta mention, the dab in the opening though!!! I really like how they're travelling to find new things and places while trying to survive. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Blend S Episode 2:

I kind of lost track of anime and now I have 10 episodes to catch up on in different series... so I'll make this quick! I still really love this anime! It made me laugh the same amount of times as the first episode, and I'm sure this is also one of the few anime I'll end up having on my Completed list!

My Girlfriend is Shobitch Episode 1:

Lol, considering this is the first ecchi I've watched in over a year, I quite enjoyed it. I really like the fact that the mc isn't a pussy in every way, and how the girl made me laugh at parts I don't think you're meant to laugh at (in a good way). I'll probably stick with this series to see their relationship develop.
