On the topic of .es and .br ppl

12 splozojames50, Sep 23, 2018

they should be HAPPY that .com is even still here considering the state .es and .br were in pre-shut down... .com with no mods does not even COMPARE to how much of a shitshow both of those were. the ONLY benefit of these two sites were that they spoke Spanish and Portuguese... that's IT.
-stars were played in literal tengaged private messages. im pretty sure i made final 4 in stars on .br on QueenDuff just sheeping like 2 ppl in private messages...
-The moderation was an ABSOLUTE MESS. English speakers would get banned for anything meanwhile actual issues never got addressed. Pretty much every mod was johneh levels of awful or worse if thats even possible
-speaking of moderation they did N O T H I N G about multis. EVERYONE had multis and would just spam fill fastings because the payouts were better and every single one was filled with afks and you just had to vote every round to be garunteed finals.
-Speaking of english speakers, speaking english got banned, castings and fastings were COMPLETELY seperated between english and spanish speakrs, and there were like 1-2 stars spots available only to english speakers. the fact that .es/.br people claim they are being discriminated against based off of a seemingly actual legitimate premade is laughable
-the activity on the website was horrible. in this current state of .com games are enrolling more than they enrolled on .es/.br.
-somehow with the lower number of games the people in the hall of fame had THOUSANDS more karma than the people on .com which speaks to either the level of competition or the lack of competition via cheating/abusing afk games.
-the blogs pages moved slower than z#oopers even if you count the occasional english speaker troll blog
and all that is just off the top of my head from memories from YEARS ago...
my overall impressions of .es and .br were that they were offensively horrible and not something i could imagine anyone taking seriously so i dont know why .es/.br people are complaining publicly about a stars premade that is actually legitimate instead of trying to enjoy .com (which at its worst is better than .es/.br at its best) and make GOOD impressions on the community they are interacting with.
