The clue found in the Jewel will direct our players to Sentosa Island, the main tourism hub of Singapore. Once here, they will face a detour...and a U-Turn. A detour is a choice between two tasks:
Going Down: Players must head to the Adventure Cove Waterpark, and ride one of the water slides. On this waterslide, ten scrambled letters can be found within the slide. Racers must memorise these letters, and use them to spell "Singapore", but be warned, one letter is a decoy. This can take between 5 and 75 minutes
Going Up: Players must access the Fort Siloso Sky Walkway, before looking out over the surrounding area for The Amazing Race Flag. Once found, players must head to this location to find their next clue. This can take between 30 and 80 minutes

Upon landing in Nairobi, players must race to the Kenya Railway Museum, where they will discover their first roadblock
In this roadblock, players must construct the track for a miniature train as it is in motion, however, there is only one piece to fill 10 gaps in the track. Switching the loose piece of track, players must get the train to the end of it's route. If the train falls off the track, they must start over. This roadblock can take between 5 and 40 minutes

After completing this roadblock, racers will head to the Uhuru Gardens; the place the Kenyan flag was first flown. Here, teams will face a detour, having a choice between two tasks:
Raise The Flag: Racers must first solve a word puzzle, rearranging letters to spell the word "Kibera". Once they have done this, they must hoist the weighted flags with the corresponding letters up the flagpole in the correct order to get their next clue. This task can take between 15 and 60 minutes
Draw The Flag: Teams will be shown a 30 second reel of the flag of Kenya, as well as surrounding countries Somalia, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania. Using supplies provided, racers must recreate all of these flags and name the country it belongs to. This task can take between 20 and 80 minutes

Upon completing the roadblock, players will be given their next clue, which will take them to the Botanical Gardens, where they will face their detour for this leg. This detour has two choices:
Touch and Scent - Racers will face two waves. In the first, they will smell different plants while blindfolded, and in the second, they will touch them. Racers will then remove their blindfolds, and must then identify the plants based on touch and smell alone. This can take between 5 and 60 minutes
Watch and Learn - Racers will have to memorize the correct conditions for growing various plants. Once memorized, a simulation will grow them in a sped-up version. If their plant lives to mature, they pass. If it withers and died, they must start over. This task can take between 25 and 80 minutes
