(+/-) Sophie Clarke ~ S23: South Pacific

9 BlueBarracuda, Oct 19, 2016

SPOILERS.

.
.
Sophie is the Sole Survivor of Survivor: South Pacific and she was a member of the Upolu tribe. Her alliance were able to systematically eliminate the Savaii tribe and Sophie was the brains behind her alliance, which led to her being crown Sole Survivor.
Although skeptical of Coach being in the game, Sophie joined his alliance, along with Rick, Brandon, and Albert, with Edna as their 6th vote. The others being deeply religious, Sophie did what she could to fit into their cult-like group successfully. Observant, she knew right away Brandon was keeping a secret from the tribe. By the first challenge, Sophie also emerged as a strong physical competitor. Using Albert’s clue to the Idol, Sophie, Albert, and Coach were able to find the Hidden Immunity Idol, allowing Coach to keep it. Her alliance were able to take out all their Upolu opposition, and entered the merge tied in numbers with Savaii. With the help of Cochran, her alliance were able to get the numbers advantage and systematically eliminate Savaii one by one, and later Cochran himself. During this stage, Sophie won two individual immunities, ensuring members of Savaii went home. By eliminating Edna, it was just the Upolu Family alliance left in the game, which led them to turn on each other.
Physically and strategically a threat, Sophie was in danger for the first time in the game. Although targeted by Brandon and Albert, she was able to convince Rick and Coach to side with her and take out Brandon (when he surprisingly gave up immunity to Albert). With Ozzy back in the game, Sophie demanded help from Albert during an immunity challenge, leading Ozzy to call her a “pretentious, spoiled brat”, leading her to burst into tears, saying she was naturally blunt. With Ozzy having immunity, Sophie received votes from both Ozzy and Rick, but was saved when Albert and Coach voted with her to send home Rick. At the final immunity challenge, Sophie and Ozzy fought neck-and-neck, with Sophie ultimately winning, which led to the Upolu 3 to vote out the final Savaii member. Sophie declared herself the new Dragon Slayer. At Final Tribal Council, Sophie was honestly blunt, exposing Coach’s lies. She ultimately beat Coach and Albert in a 6-3-0 vote, receiving votes from Jim, Keith, Dawn, Whitney, Brandon, and Ozzy. She used part of her Survivor winnings to pay off her student loans and she continues to pursue a medical career. She is the first Survivor castaway to win two immunity challenges in a day and won more individual comps (not counting duels) of any castaway on South Pacific. Despite the season often getting often ratings as a whole, Sophie is often ranked high in terms of being the best Survivor winner, gameplay wise, due to her being the strategist behind one of Survivor’s strongest alliance and for reversing the strong man takes two weak girls to the end Survivor trope, evening calling Coach a little girl.
She was lowkey hilarious and on Courtney..

(+/-) Albert Destrade ~ S23: South Pacific

5 BlueBarracuda, Oct 19, 2016

Albert is a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and a member of the Upolu tribe. His alliance successfully Pagonged the Savaii tribe upon the merge and he was able to make the final 3 with his close ally Sohpie. Unable to secure enough votes, he was the second runner up to Coach (runner-up) and Sophie (sole Survivor).
Within the first 3 days of the game, Albert joined an alliance with Sophie, Coach, Rick, and Brandon. They also had Edna as a 6th vote. Albert was particularly close with Sophie and the two of them would strategize together.  Albert’s alliance allowed him to be safe the entirety of the pre-merge section of the game, with his alliance taking out outsiders Stacey, Christine, and Mikayla. Upon the merge, his alliance was able to convince Cochran to flip on his alliance, which led to Upolu and Albert to eliminate the Savaii tribe one by one. Albert secured immunity at the fourth individual immunity challenge and his alliance took out Cochran, no longer needing him. They did the same thing to Edna at the subsequent tribal council.
At this point, Albert’s deception caught up to him, with Rick, Brandon, Sophie, and Coach confronting him about it. Feeling guilty, Brandon made amends with Albert by giving him individual immunity at final 6, which led to Brandon himself going home, receiving all but Albert’s vote. With Ozzy returning to the game, the main goal was to get Ozzy back out, so Albert joined Sophie and Coach in taking out Rick, as we was the least likely to beat Ozzy in a challenge.  Albert received his first and only vote against him (or for) when Ozzy targeted him at the final 4. Albert, Coach, and Sophie unanimously voted for Ozzy to go home.  At Final Tribal Council, the jury questioned Albert’s gameplay and his failure to enact his strategy, his deceptions and lies, and his jury management (giving the jury false hope when he voted them out), which all led to him receiving 0 votes from the jury, becoming the 2nd runner up to Coach (runner up) and Sophie, who was crowned Sole Survivor.

(+/-) Rick Nelson ~ S23: South Pacific

3 BlueBarracuda, Oct 19, 2016

Rick was a castaway on Survivor: South Pacific and a member of the Upolu tribe. His alliance was able to make it to the merge and eliminate all the Savaiis aside from Ozzy, but Rick came up short, becoming the 16th voted out and the 8th member of the jury on Day 37.
Rick was not a fan of Coach, but within the first 3 days, he aligned with him, along with Sophie, Brandon, and Albert, with Edna as an extra vote. Having the numbers advantage, his alliance easily took out Stacey and Christine. Rick found himself the swing vote when the decision was between Mikayla and Edna, with him deciding to vote out Mikayla in the end. His alliance was able to make it to the merge fully intact. The tribes even, the Savaii tribe members voted for Rick and his alliance voted for Keith, which led to a tie. Fortunately for Rick, Cochran flipped on his tribe and changed his vote, which led Rick to survive and his alliance to systematically eliminate Savaii one by one including Cochran. Cochran attempted to convince Edna, Albert, and Coach to vote Rick off, but was unsuccessful. Edna went next, no longer needed, leaving Rick’s alliance in the final 6, where they voted off Brandon who foolishly gave up immunity. Ozzy returned from Redemption Island, which led Rick to being targeted a third time in the game. With Ozzy winning immunity, Rick campaigned for Sophie to go home, as she was the most likely to win the game. Only able to convince Ozzy to vote with him, Rick was voted out in a 3-2 vote. In a hilarious moment, Coach tried to hug Rick and Rick angrily told him to sit the fuck down. With Redemption Island over, Rick was sent directly to the jury, where he voted for Coach to win, despite his betrayal. Rick later attended Coach’s wedding and Rick got on the show after winning the Sears competition to be on Survivor (previously won by Jimmy Tarantino). Who votes for those things? No idea. Rick was the oldest castaway on South Pacific.

(+/-) Brandon Hantz ~ South Pacific &..

5 BlueBarracuda, Oct 19, 2016

Brandon is the nephew of Survivor supervillain Russell Hantz and Brandon appeared originally on Survivor: South Pacific. Despite being Russell’s nephew, he found himself in a solid alliance, only to become the the 15th person voted out of the game and was permanently eliminated at Redemption Island on Day 36, becoming the 13th eliminated and 7th jury member. He returned for Survivor: Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites 2, where he was a lot more emotional and volatile, to the point where his tribe had to forfeit their immunity and immediately go to tribal on the beach where he was unanimously voted off.
Brandon entered the game with the secret of being related to Russell Hantz’ nephew. Like all relative-twists on CBS reality shows (Paulie Califiore), Brandon of course had his last name tattooed prominently on his body, which meant he couldn’t fully take off his shirt (wearing it like a weirdo), making it obvious he was hiding something on his upper back. In the first 3 days, he joined an alliance with Coach, Rick, Albert, and Sophie, who used religion to form a cult-like group called the Upolu Family. Unable to carry the burden of his secret, Brandon told Coach on Day 4. Because she was hot, Brandon couldn’t handle being around Mikayla, so he conspired against her, even though she was the strongest female on the tribe. His alliance also took out fearsome twosome Christine and Stacey. With Edna as a satellite member of their alliance, the six of them entered the merge tied in numbers. Brandon won the first individual immunity, protecting him from the votes. Their alliance was able to convince Cochran to flip on his alliance, which led to Upolu systematically eliminating them one by one. Known for his emotional and volatile outbursts throughout the game, at the final 5 he called out Albert on his deception. Feeling guilty, Brandon gave him his Individual immunity necklace to make amends. His allies took this opportunity to betray him in a 3-2 vote. He competed in the final Duel against Ozzy but was unable to defeat him, becoming the 7th jury member. He voted for Sophie to win. At the live reunion show, Brandon claimed nobody from his family came to support him. Russell Hantz was there and insulted Brandon, claiming Brandon sold his tickets and he also critiqued his game.
Brandon returned for Survivor: Caramoan and joined an alliance with Erik, Brenda, and Francesca. During the first tribal, he campaigned for Andrea to go, only for his own ally Francesca to go home instead. Upset at them giving booting Francesca first AGAIN, Brandon considered pissing in the rice and sabotaging camp, but restrained himself. The majority alliance later added Brandon to their numbers, with his Stealth R Us nickname being The Conquerer. From that point on, Brandon stayed safe due to Bikals winning streak. During this time, Brandon began to resent Phillip, growing frustrated with him, calling him the biggest bully he’d ever met. This led to a series of verbal..

(+/-) Dr. Edna Ma ~ S23: South Pacific

13 BlueBarracuda, Oct 19, 2016

SPOILERS.
.
.
..
.
.
Edna is a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and was a member of the Upolu tribe. Known for her friendship with Coach, Edna became the 14th person voted out on Day 32 and the 6th member of the jury after being eliminated 12th from the game.
While the other Upolu’s initially isolated and avoided Coach, Edna was the only one there for him day 1, which was instrumental in securing her allegiance to Coach and getting her further in the game. Edna was not an official member of the Upolu Family alliance (consisting of Albert, Sophie, Coach, Brandon, and Rick) and was left out of strategizing. Edna was often perceived as the weakest member of the tribe and often the target of elimination by her fellow outsiders, but her bond with Coach and by extension his alliance kept her safe. During one of his outbursts, Brandon revealed to Edna she wasn’t a real member of their alliance. When the decision was between Mikayla and Edna, Albert tried to convince people to take out Edna, fearing Coach would take her over him to Final Tribal Council, but Rick the swing vote sided with Coach and Brandon.
Edna made the merge along with the other 5 members of her alliance. When Cochran betrayed his Savaii alliance, this allowed Edna and her peers to have the numbers advantage, keeping Edna easily safe during single-digits, despite the Savaii’s best attempts at targeting her. With the Savaii’s systematically eliminated, Brandon made it known to Edna she was next on the chopping block. In danger, Edna begged Coach to give her his Hidden Immunity Idol, but Coach refused, saying he needed it to keep himself safe. Unable to convince Albert and Sophie to flip (which she was close to doing), Edna was unanimously voted out. At the second-to-last Redemption Island Duel, Edna came close to defeating Ozzy, but he beat her, sending her to the jury. Edna voted for Coach to win. Right after the show, her husband missed her so much he impregnated her shortly after she returned from filming. With 15 votes against her, Edna dethroned Lindsay Richter of Africa and Jerri Manthey’s record of 12, to hold the record of most votes against a woman in a single season. Laura Morrett later dethroned Edna in Blood vs. Water. Edna initially applied to be on Shark Tank, but Mark Burnett convinced her to be on Survivor. Her close friendship with fellow doctor Mick Trimming also helped her get on the show. She later appeared on Shark Tank after her Survivor appearance to promote a new business. (+/-) John Cochran ~ South Pacific &..

6 BlueBarracuda, Oct 19, 2016

John Cochran (aka just Cochran) is a Survivor superfan who originally appeared on Survivor: South Pacific, where he was known for being socially awkward and out of his element. He is remembered for betraying his own alliance at the merge, leading to them being systematically eliminated, including himself, where he was the 5th jury member. He returned to play as a favorite on Survivor: Caramoan- Fans vs. Favorites, where he was able to play a more focused, strategic game, and once again aligned with Dawn and together, they went to the end, where Cochran was named Sole Survivor in a unanimous vote.
John started South Pacific as a HUGE superfan of the show, having written tons of Survivor research papers (like yours truly…) and insisted that Jeff Probst call him Cochran, because he calls all of his favorite players by their last name (i.e. Penner). Although an expert of the game, Cochran was socially awkward and found himself immediately at the bottom and outside the major alliance. Despite this, he formed a tight bond with Dawn. As one of the weakest players, he received votes during the pre-merge portion of the game, but managed to nagivate himself from going home. He was supposed to go to Redemption Island before the merge, but seeing it as too risky and unlikely for Cochran to defeat Christine, they sent Ozzy instead with their Trojan Horse strategy to ensure they had numbers at the merge- Ozzy even gave his Idol to Cochran. His Savaii tribe mates wanted him to be a double agent and gather intel from Upolu. Feeling like an outcast and bullied by his old tribe mates, when the votes were tied 6-6 between Keith and Rick, Cochran betrayed his alliance and sent Keith out of the game. Called disgusting and a coward by Whitney and Jim, Cochran helped Upolu take out the rest of his former tribe, including Dawn. No longer needed by Upolu, they voted him out in a 5-2 vote with only Edna voting for Rick with him. At Redemption Island, he faced off against Ozzy and did surprisingly well, only to be defeated. As a jury member, he voted for Coach to win the game.
He would return for Survivor: Caramoan – Fans vs. Favorites 2 and was on the Bikal tribe with other “favorites”, this time more relaxed and less phased about being on his favorite tv show. He and Dawn re-formed an alliance and found themselves at the swing votes early on, ultimately siding with the Stealth R Us alliance which they joined. During a tribe swap, he stayed on Bikal with Dawn and they were outmatched by the stronger Gota tribe. Noticing Matt and Michael’s friendship, Cochran was able to orchestrate  Matt’s elimination, as well as Julia’s, and at the merge, the former Bikal had the numbers against the “Cool Kids Alliance”. Despite being perceived as the weakest his original season, Cochran was able to defeat his more physically strong competitors by winning several individual immunities. Seeing likability as a liability to win, Cochran helped organize the..

(+/-) Whitney Duncan ~ S23: South Pacific

8 BlueBarracuda, Oct 18, 2016

Whitney is a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and she was a member of the Savaii tribe. At the merge, Cochran betrayed her alliance, leading to the Savaii tribe being eliminated one by one, including Whitney, who became the 12th person voted out of the game and by losing her duel, became the 10th eliminated and the 4th member of the jury.
The fourth runner-up on Nashville Star season 5, the country music “star” found herself in the majority alliance on Savaii, along with Elyse, Ozzy, Jim, and Keith. She quickly grew particularly close to Keith, whom she decided to cheat on her husband with on the Island. As one of the most athletic girls on her tribe, Whitney found herself safe during the pre-merge stage, joining her alliance in taking out Semhar and Mark. Not wanting to vote for her friend Elyse, Whitney and Keith threw their votes on Dawn. Whitney was on board with Ozzy’s Trojan Horse strategy, which actually worked.
Whitney managed to make the merge where her side voted for Rick. Expecting Whitney to receive votes, Ozzy played his Idol on Whitney, keeping her safe, although she received 0 votes. Unfortunately, out of fear, Cochran flipped his vote to Keith during the revote, sending him to Redemption Island, enraging Whitney, who no longer had someone to fuck during the long cold Samoan nights. She told Cochran he disgusts her.  At the next tribal council, she joined the others in voting out Ozzy. Whitney won the third individual immunity and her site attempted to take out Edna, failed, and tried again at the next Tribal, but failed again, with members of Whitney’s side going home instead. As one of the remaining Savaii members left, Whitney campaigned for Cochran to go home to no avail, and  Whitney was voted out Day 27  in a landslide and sent to Redemption. She was unable to win her Redemption Island Duel and became the 4th jury member. She voted for Sophie to win.
After the show, she and Keith remained together and she divorced her husband Donny. In 2013, Keith and Whitney were engaged and together, they competed on season 25 of The Amazing Race, placing 8th. After TAR, the two got married in summer 2014.  Whitney was originally applied to appear on Survivor: Nicaragua but was cut because she was signed to a major label at that time.

(+/-) Dawn Meehan ~ South Pacific &..

10 BlueBarracuda, Oct 18, 2016

Dawn is a castaway who originally appeared on Survivor: South Pacific where she was a member of the Savaii tribe. She was incredibly close to Cochran, but due to his betrayal, she became the 11th person voted out and the 9th person eliminated at Redemption Island, making her the 3rd jury member. She was given a second chance and competed on Survivor: Caramoan – Fans vs. Favorites 2 where she was a favorite. Once again she aligned with Cochran and the two managed to make final 3 together, where she was the runner-up to Cochran.
In her first season, Dawn immediately found herself at the bottom of the Savaii tribe and was considered the weakest by many, along with Cochran, whom she formed a bond with as a result. With the encouragement of Papa Bear, Dawn was able to dig deep and make the merge, finding herself finally included in the Savaii Alliance She was blindsided when Cochran changed his vote at the revote to avoid drawing rocks, putting the Savaii tribe down in numbers. Knowing she was on a sinking ship, Dawn joined in the vote to take out Ozzy, but at her final 2 tribal council appearances, she joined her fellow Savaii’s in targeting Edna to go home unsuccessfully. Although she proved herself capable in challenges, she was pereceived as a potential jury threat because of her motherly role she played and her popularity with her tribe mates, so she was voted off on Day 27. Unable to win her RI duel, she was eliminated the next day on day 28, becoming a member of the jury, where she voted for Sohpie.
She would later return for Survivor: Caramoan and was on the Favorites tribe, Bikal, along with South Pacific ally Cochran. The two would team up and join Phillip Sheppard’s Stealth R Us alliance (Dawn’s Code Name: True Grit). Bikal dominated in a lot of the early challenges, only suffering due to the interpersonal conflict between Brandon and Phillip, which culminated in Brandon’s unanimous elimination by verbal vote. When a tribe swap occurred on day 14, Dawn, Cochran, Phillip, and Corinne, remained on Bikal, being joined by Matt, Julia, and Michael. Gota being much stronger now, Bikal went on a losing streak, where former Gota members were taken out. Once again Dawn made the merge and Corinne told her of her plan to blindside Phillip. Wanting to avoid her own tribe’s self-destruction again, she shared Corinne’s plan with Cochran, who told Phillip, and Corinne was ousted instead. In a dramatic moment, Dawn lost her retainer in a lagoon and wanted to quit the game if she couldn’t find it. Brenda overheard her and helped find her teeth. When Brenda won the family challenge, she chose Dawn to share time with her husband, only for Brenda to give up both of their family visits so the others could enjoy their own, which upset Dawn. Dawn won individual immunity and although hesitant, she joined the others in blindsiding Brenda. With Erik being medically evacuated, Dawn made final 4, and with Cochran winning, they, along with Sherri,..

(+/-) Keith Tollefson ~ S23: South Pacific

3 BlueBarracuda, Oct 18, 2016

Keith is a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and was originally a member of the Savaii tribe. Due to the betrayal of Cochran at the merge, Keith became the 8th person voted out of the game on day 21 and after losing his Redemption Island duel on day 25, became the 8th person eliminated and the 2nd member of the jury.
He joined Ozzy’s alliance right away, which included Jim, Whitney, and Elyse. Jim included him in his sub-alliance within the alliance, although Keith was particularly close to Whitney whom he hit it off right away with, as well as Ozzy. Aside from Elyse being taken out (which he and Whitney threw their votes out), his alliance stayed intact until the merge, where he participated in voting out Ozzy as part of their Trojan Horse strategy, which surprisingly worked, and they attempted to bring Dawn & Cochran into their alliance entering the merge, despite Keith’s poor attempt at socializing with them.
Upon the merge, Keith was immediately targeted for being a competition threat and because he probably didn’t have the Idol. The votes at the first Tribal Council were split between Keith and Rick and after a revote occurred, Cochran changed his vote to Keith, betraying him and their alliance, sending Keith to Redemption Island. He immediately suspected it was Cochran who betrayed him and he was shortly joined at Redemption by both Ozzy and Jim. In the first Duel, Keith outlasted Jim, giving him 12th place, but was unable to beat Ozzy, sending Keith home 11th. As the second jury member, he voted for Sophie to win the game.  Despite Whitney being married, Keith and Whitney started a relationship on the show.  After the show, she divorced from her husband and got engaged to Keith in 2013. As an engaged couple, Keith and Whitney competed on The Amazing Race season 25, placing 8th. Several months later, they got married in July 2014.  He is the first castaway with a pacemaker and one of 15 castaways (that sounds wrong) that have appeared on other reality shows.

(+/-) Jim Rice ~ S23: South Pacific

6 BlueBarracuda, Oct 18, 2016

Jim was a castaway on Survivor: South Pacific and originally a member of the Savaii tribe. Due to Cochran’s betrayal of the Savaii tribe at the merge, Jim became the 10th person voted out on Day 24 and the 7th eliminated, which made him the 1st member of the jury on Day 25.
Jim was arguably the leader of the Savaii alliance (aka the 90210 alliance), which members included Keith, Ozzy, and Whitney, and somewhat Dawn and Cochran. Jim was instrumental in getting Semhar booted from the game first, shouting at her when she cost them the first immunity. When it was Mark vs. Cochran, Jim thought Cochran should go as the weakest member, but he didn’t get his way. Fearing Elyse and Ozzy were blossoming into a showmance, Jim helped orchestrate Elyse’s elimination from the game. Fearing Christine’s dominance in the Redemption Island challenges would cost them the numbers upon the merge, they came up with a plan to purposely vote out Ozzy to take out Christine, which worked.
At the merge, however, the votes were tied between Rick and Keith. Fearing drawing rocks, Cochran turned on his alliance and took out Keith with the Upolu Family. During the iconic Shoulder the Loud challenge, Jim (shared with Brandon) set the Survivor record for most weight held onto with 240 lbs, records previously set by J.T., who broke James record, who broke Rupert’s record, etc.  After Keith was sent to Redemption Island, Jim was appalled at Cochran’s betrayal and voted for him at the next Tribal Council (only for Ozzy to go), which Jim was luckily immune due to winning individual immunity. Unable to win back-to-back immunities, the Upolu tribe voted together, sending Jim to Redemption Island on Day 24. Unable to defeat Ozzy or Keith, Jim placed 12th and became the first jury member, voting for Sophie to win. After the show, Jim and his wife were offered spots on Survivor: Blood vs. Water but were unable to accept. He later was one of 32 people selected to be voted by fans into Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chances, but he did not receive enough votes to make the final cast. He is the only member of his Savaii tribe not to play a second CBS reality show – Ozzy will play a 4th time in Survivor 34 (not to mention his prior 2 appearances), Dawn & Cochran were on Caramoan, and Keith and Whitney were on the Amazing Race. Jim still is eager to get to play again and probably campaigned the hardest to be on Survivor: Cambodia aside from T-Bird. He also got in a Twitter Feud with Survivor 30 Winner Mike Holloway.

(+/-) Christine Shields Markoski ~ S23: South..

23 BlueBarracuda, Oct 15, 2016

Christine was a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and a member of the Upolu tribe. Although she was the second person voted out of the game, she won duel after duel on Redemption Island and almost fought her way back into the game, before ultimately being defeated on Day 19, becoming the 6th person to leave the game.
At the start of the game, she told Jeff Probst in front of everyone that the returning players were “temporary players”, unhappy that Ozzy and Coach were playing with them. She spent much of the early days searching for a Hidden Immunity Idol, which annoyed and made her tribe mates suspicious, especially cause she wasn’t helping with work around camp.  Once she learned the clue was at camp, Christine continued looking for the Idol, although when Upolu won the first immunity challenge, she was safe. She finally found a clue to the idol on Day 4, although was unable to find the Idol. When Upolu lost their first immunity challenge on Day 5, Coach immediately targeted Christine for calling him a temporary player. Afraid she or Stacey may have the Idol, his alliance split their six votes between herself and Stacey. Meanwhile, Brandon tried to get Christine and Stacey to vote out Mikayla instead, but they thought Edna was the weakest and should go. Because of them refusing to vote for Mikayla, Brandon turned around and lied to Coach, saying the two were campaigning for Mikayla, which caused drama at Tribal Council, where Brandon was caught in a lie. Coach’s alliance split the vote 3 and 3 and with Mikayla casting the 4th and devastating vote to Christine, she was sent to Redemption Island and was the 2nd person sent there.
At Redemption Island, she immediately befriended Semhar, whom she later defeated in the first Duel. Semhar gave her the sweater off her back as a parting gift. Christine hoped to become the Matt Elrod of her season and one by one, she defeated her challenges at Redemption Island, even sending her friend and ally Stacey home. Right before the merge, the Savaii tribe purposely voted Ozzy out (his own idea) in order for him to defeat her, which ended up being successful.  On her 40th birthday, on day 19, she was permanently sent home. After the show, she remains very good friends with Stacey Powell. She is the first women to win a two person challenge in a Redemption Island Duel. Prior to being cast, she sent an email to the Survivor casting and complained, letting them know they did their job poorly with people like NaOnka and Purple Kelly being cast instead of her.  She also once dressed up as her tribe mate Cochran for Halloween. Sadly, she hasn't been asked back.

(+/-) Mikayla Wingle ~ S23: South Pacific

3 BlueBarracuda, Oct 15, 2016

Mikayla was a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and was a member of the Upolu tribe. She became the 6th person voted out on Day 16 and was permanently eliminated from the game day 17 after she lost her Redemption Island Duel.
A former Playboy cover model, Mikayla emerged as one of the strongest females on the Upolu tribe. Her downfall was finding herself in the minority right away, as her tribe mates made alliances without her, isolating herself and putting her in the bottom. She was instantly targeted by manchild Brandon Hantz because Brandon had no self-control and was worried that if Mikayla stayed in the game, he’d cheat on his wife. She was too hot to handle, if you will. Brandon argued to Coach that she acted like “Parvati Shallow”, but Coach said fuck that and his alliance went ahead and took out power duo Christine and Stacey, who were also in the minority with Mikayla, preferring to keep Mikayla for her physical strength in challenges. Brandon then blamed Christine and Stacey for campaigning to get Mikayla out, which was a lie, which he was exposed about at Tribal. The only person outside the core alliance, Coach thought she was selfish for taking an unfair share of the reward cream, and blamed Mikayla for their immunity loss because she didn’t do the challenge like Coach demanded her to. Coach’s alliance wanted to target Mikayla, but Albert thought they should target Edna instead, who was weaker and not an official member of the core alliance. Because she was Coach’s bitch, Coach insisted they vote out Mikayla instead. Albert tried his hardest to save Mikayla, but he was unable to convince Rick to swing over to his site, resulting in Mikayla going to Redemption Island in a 4-3 vote. At RI, she faced off against Redemption Beast Christine, who took out her challengers left and right. Unable to defeat her, Mikayla became the 5th person to leave the game on Day 17.  Since the show, Mikayla still hates Brandon and by extension his uncle Russell and she tweets shade at them often. She also became a professional body builder and is jacked now. She is a member of the Tampa Bay Breeze lingerie football team. She was one of 32 contestants eligible for Survivor: Cambodia – Second Chances, because she was screwed over cause of sexism, but was not ultimately cast in the show. Monica Padilla was SHOCKED! she and T-Bird weren’t part of the final cast.

(+/-) Elyse Umemoto ~ S23: South Pacific

7 BlueBarracuda, Oct 14, 2016

Elyse was a castaway on Survivor: South Pacific and was a member of the Savaii tribe. She became the 5th person voted out on Day 14 and the 4th eliminated from the game on Day 15.
With Native American heritage, Elyse hoped her ancestral spirits would guide her through the game. They did not. She joined the rest of the tribe in voting for Semhar at the first tribal council. Due to her physical prowess, Ozzy invited her into an alliance with Keith, Jim, and Whitney. Jim proposed “3+2” idea to Ozzy, that the men would stick together and vote out Elyse & Whitney first. When Savaii once again lost immunity at the third immunity challenge, the target was on Dawn, Papa Bear, and Cochran. While in the woods during the afternoon, Elyse caught Papa Bear sprinting through the woods, suspecting he was searching for the Idol, and her alliance and the rest of Savaii voted him out. Worried about Elyse’s bond was Ozzy, Jim reached out to Dawn and Cochran, and when Savaii lost the fifth immunity challenge, he told Keith and Whitney he had more numbers for them, at the expense of Ozzy’s trust. At Tribal, Elyse joined Ozzy in voting for Cochran as originally was planned, while Keith and Whitney threw their votes (at Dawn). Jim’s plan worked and with Dawn and Cochran voting with him, they were able to blindside Elyse and Ozzy and voted her out in a 3-2-2 vote, sending her to Redemption Island. The next day she competed and lost to Christine at a duel, becoming the 4th eliminated.
Elyse had more success OUTSIDE the show. Before appearing on Survivor, she was Miss Washington and was crowned the 2nd Runner-up for Miss America 2008 and made national headlines when inappropriate pictures of her drinking at a party surfaced and were leaked to TMZ. Elyse apologized and Miss America didn’t care.  Elyse’s background includes Yakama (Native), German, Japanese, and Latina blood.

(+/-) Stacey Powell ~ S23: South Pacific

17 BlueBarracuda, Oct 14, 2016

Stacey was a castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and she was a member of the Upolu tribe. She became the 4th person voted out on Day 11 and the 3rd person eliminated from the game on day 12 after losing her duel against her friend and ally Christine, making Stacey the first Upolu to leave the game.
Like her other tribe mates, she was unhappy to have Coach on her tribe in the beginning, forming a mutual bond over this with Christine, whom she aligned with. Christine was insistent on finding an Idol, but when she was caught, putting a target on both their backs. Stacey even overheard Edna and Coach talking about them, saying her and Christine’s friendship could be incredibly dangerous if kept in the game. Suspecting that one of them already had the Idol, at their first tribal council appearance on Day 6, Coach suggested his six person alliance split the votes 3-3 on Christine and Stacey, even though Brandon wanted Mikayla gone because Brandon couldn’t handle having a hot girl on his tribe, but he blamed Stacey and Christine for wanting her out. Despite Brandon’s random campaign to get Mikayla out, Coach’s alliance split the vote and with outsider Mikayla breaking the tie, Christine went home, leaving Stacey alone in the game. Stacey performed well in challenges, even being the last women standing in a strength competition. Unfortunately, her tribe kept weak Edna over Stacey, voting her out 7-1. When they tried to hug her on her way out, she shut them down, calling them hypocrites with their loyalty and integrity bullshit. At Redemption Island, she got to reunite with Christine, where they happily complained about Coach. Before their Duel, Stacey and Christine called out “Benjamin” (refusing to call him Coach) being in Charge at Upolu and called the others liars. Stacey was unable to defeat Christine and was sent home on day 12. Albert and Mikayla relayed Stacey’s comments back to Coach, who was upset about it.  Jeff Probst predicted she’d be an early boot. Stacey was the oldest women on South Pacific and received votes at both her tribal councils- receiving 10 total. She is the second mortician to play the game, after Darrah Johnson in Pearl Islands.

(+/-) Mark 'Papa Bear' Caruso ~ S23: South..

6 BlueBarracuda, Oct 13, 2016

Mark, or Papa Bear, is castaway from Survivor: South Pacific and he was a member of the Savaii tribe. He became the third person voted out of the game on day 8 and was the second person eliminated from the game on day 9 after he lost his Redemption Island duel.
On Day 1, he told everyone he was gay but should overlook it, but insisted they all called him Papa Bear. Right away, he and Dawn felt like outsiders because they were the oldest; he gave Dawn a come to Jesus meeting and told her she needed to toughen up or get voted out. During the first tribal council, both Papa Bear and Dawn were saved when the focus was split between the two perceived weakest – Semhar and Cochran. Although they won the second immunity challenge, Papa Bear (and Cochran) were on the chopping block, Papa Bear because of his weak performance at the challenge. When Papa Bear asked Jim who was being voted out, he told him Cochran, but Papa Bear saw through his lie and decided to hunt for the Hidden Immunity Idol in order to save himself (already possessing a clue), but with Ozzy already possessing it, he was unable to find it. Elyse, however, caught him behaving weirdly in the woods and told her alliance. In a desperate move, Papa Bear made a fake hidden immunity Idol moments before tribal, although the majority alliance didn’t fall for it, voting for him in a 6-1-1 vote and sending him to Redemption Island. On Day 9, he narrowly lost against Christine, sending him home permanently.  Aside from Survivor, Papa Bear appeared on the TV Show “Brain Games”. He was the only male on South Pacific NOT to make the merge. He was also the oldest member of Savaii.
