TWIST.
The cast was split into duos - four predetermined ones - long-term friends Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, co-stars and friends Emma Roberts and Taissa Farmiga, co-stars and friends Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson and sisters, models and socialites Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The rest were given a chance to pair up, and they chose - Ariana Grande and Emma Watson, Kaya Scodelario and Lily Collins, Lorde and Shailene Woodley, and Saoirse Ronan and Taylor Swift. During the first four week, the HOHs were only allowed to nominated duos, not individuals. Once someone was evicted - the remaining partner received a golden key that kept them safe till the end of the twist.

"I will make this short. I did not expect to win at all, I was harsh and it rubbed people the wrong way. I was messy and erratic but hell, it got me a win. I was always a fighter. I really do think I deserved this, and I am glad I did what I did. I think I was a true All-Star. I do think Emma R. played an amazing game as well, and I am sorry she got 2nd but hey, Memoirs of a Jenner - Kylie's Journey, I'M STILL HERE. "I can't really say anything, cause I didn't even win. So um, thanks to everyone who voted for me even though it was pointless. When it was Final 4, I knew I had like no shot in winning, and I didn't really care or want to lose to someone like Lorde or Shailene, cause I don't even know who they are. I think Kylie wanted it more than me, so she should have won in the end. I had to make all the dirty moves in the game! Congratulations to all who played. I can at least say I made it to the very end, unlike some other people who were Team Bitter." Emma R. explained on Finale night.

After Lorde's eviction, it was down to the Final 2 - Emma R. and Kylie!
They started the game with their partners Kendall and Taissa, and instantly proved themselves to be the most threatening pairs of the game. Despite losing their partners both Emma R. and Kylie made sure they were safe each week.
At this point, their fate was no longer in their hands, as the power shifted to the Jury.
At the finale, they both said their final speeches.
Emma R. began, “Well huns, in this game I planned on playing a full rounded game. I didn't rely on competitions to win this game and openly said I threw 75% of them. Starting in this game I was planning on taking Taissa to the end obviously, but when that plan got blown up, I knew what I had to do. I messaged several people in the game to go after Kylie and Kendall to go up. It wasn't my decision to nominate them - yes, but ultimately I felt accomplished in splitting up the biggest duo in the game. I had the chance to backstab people but I waited till the right moment. I had taken out Lucy who was my biggest competition threat. I had to make sure Lucy went but Kylie was also still in the game. I was planning on taking out Kylie but I think being loyal is more respectable. I had to evict Shailene when I did, because she was setting herself in the position to win. She was in the right position to be taken by all 3 of us. She had the best potential to win, and I had to crush her dreams. That was the hardest part. I was not for that shit. I layed socially low. I could win competitions, I could influence nominations, I could backstab and I could stay loyal to an ally to the very end that may have not stuck out for me. My game was the most well-rounded. I know I am probably not winning the game, that will shock me, but I definitely think I played a more well rounded game and it should not go unrewarded."
Kylie continued, "I am going to make this short and sweet. I went unnominated post veto. I did backstab to get further in this. I was constantly a target. I was constantly in ring. Everyone wanted me out after Taissa left. We ran the game from the start, and I ran the game from the end. Yes, I would love the prize but that was never my goal. I just wanted to win. I have never done so well in a game before and I feel accomplished. I won 7 competitions and I was only nominated once. I stuck with my dear friends (sometimes) and hey, we made final 2. I would not be surprised If Emma R won this, I would be happy. She slayed this game from week 9 on and we have been together on controlling this game from the start. I am sorry for the feelings hurt in this game - but I slayed. Do not deny it. You can be bitter and angry, But I made it to Final 2 and I am proud."

"Okay, so coming into this house I thought I'd be the best girl in the game, but I was not. All of these girls were fierce and catty! They will do anything for a prize. I only knew like 2-3 people coming into the house and that was Emma R., Shailene, and Ariana. I knew Kylie & Kaya but they were like "meh" to me so I could have cared less for those bitches. Taissa came to me like a sweetheart whose trust should never be broken, but the Jenners did it! Anyways, this game was a fucking train wreck too because you never knew who was going to be evicted, and I was really surprised at Taissa's and Kendall's eviction. Okay, I'm tired of typing lots of random things to the final 2 - you both are very disgusting and need some Gemma brows pronto. Emma R., you are disgusting sloth I will never trust again & Kylie, you are queen of sloths who needs to wash her face, wax her hair ass back, and put on some lotion you ashy bitch!" The public decided that Emma R. should win Part 1 of the Final HOH, which left Kylie and Lorde fighting for themselves in Part 2.
Part 2 was a memory competition, that Kylie won. At this point, Lorde's fate was in the hands of Emma R. and Kylie.
In Part 3, Emma R. and Kylie were quizzed on the goodbye speeches from the season - and ultimately Emma won.
The nominations are Kylie and Lorde, and it's up to Emma R. to decide who will she take to the Final 2.

"OK, so this game was so hard. I had to fight like hell. I was nominated 3 weeks in a row, and I fought my ass off to stay. I aligned with different people, and backstabbed people as I needed to. My only big regret is trusting Emma R. She's shady and not to be trusted. She's good, but I won't ever trust her in anything ever again. She just shocked me with that backstab, and honestly she can go to hell. I'm disappointed I wasn't able to make it to the end as that was the goal, and I fell barely short - but that's the game, and I mean I'd tried my best. No one can fault me for that, and at the end of the day, I had fun. I wish Lorde and Kylie the best of luck and I hope one of you two girls wins it." After Emma W.'s eviction, it was time to crown a new HOH, and Kylie was victorious.

After Selena's eviction in the Fast Forward, the Young Hollywood Queens fought for HOH, and Emma R. won.
At the HOH Ceremony, Emma R. explained, "There is one duo left in the game, and you both know who you are so there's no point in taking forever. The nominees are Lorde and Shailene."
At POV, Lorde won her first competition of the season, and quickly decided to use to save herself from the block, explaining "I don't know. Keep nominations same? Save Shailene? or me? If I keep it the same, drama starts. I'm doing this for my boo Ariana Grande. Our alliance was broken. I have decided to use the veto on myself, because I deserve another week and stay in longer for my hun Ariana. Sorry Shailene, hope you stay." Emma R. then named Emma W. the replacement nominee.

"So, when I originally walked into this game, I felt a whole mess of emotions. I was terrified, because I saw close friendships form right off the bat and excited because it seemed like a cast full of wonderful people that would be easy to work with. Boy was I wrong. This game was filled with manipulative, dirty, down-south ass people and honestly, I loved every minute of it. This game actually pushed me to my limits and made me realize that you cannot just rely on friendships. You have to be great at competitions, great at socializing and amazing at strategizing, which was my ultimate downfall in the game. I couldn’t make a move, nor could I think long-term while I was participating in the game. I think my biggest mistake in the game was voting out Taissa in the Fast Forward round, because I felt like she could have taken out the girls that ultimately got me out. Another big mistake was allowing Selena to nominate both of the Jenners, instead of sticking up for the one that I was close with, which was Kendall. Ultimately, I got screwed out of the game and I wish all my fellow queens the best of luck. The top six should be very interesting." Lucy explained during her post-eviction interview.

After Kendall's eviction, the Young Hollywood Queens competed in a rather difficult HOH competition. In the end, after surviving a nomination, Emma R. became the next HOH.
At the HOH Ceremony, Emma R. explained, "I have decided to nominate the biggest power players and threats in this game. With that, I am going to be nominating Selena and Lucy for eviction. A common theme of splitting up pairs in this game is prevalent, so why not continue. One of you nominated me, the other took a part and had no shame in taking out my ally. With that Lucy and Selena warm up those nomination seats for me, sweet peas."
At POV, Kylie won for the second week in a row. After deliberating what to do with it, Kylie ultimately decided not to use it on either of the nominees, and keep Emma R.'s initial nominations the same.
