The sweet younger sister of Olivia Pine, she lost her sister during "the event" as Olivia rushed out the back to save the young boys. Nobody ever saw her again. No body was ever recovered. It was like Olivia ceased to exist in that moment, along with the other children. Still, Melody has done well enough for herself considering her circumstances. She's been adopted, raised by a loving family, and become the perfect little all-around sweetheart and social butterfly she always wanted to be. Still, something pulls her back to New Hope. One can only hope she doesn't lose her wings in this place of torments.

The well-meaning minister of New Hope's Catholic Church, he's been through hard times recently. Despite his calling, the man is anything but orthodox, and seems to be one of the worst priests imaginable. One might see him walking out of the bar on a Saturday night with a little more swagger to his step than is "appropriate," and yet the masses still come to him with religious issues because they have nowhere else to go.

A single mother of one of the Orphans of New Hope, Miranda has seen the dark times moving in on the town for too long. She has known something was coming, but never imagined how horrible it might become. A sweetheart, and yet sometimes overprotective of her children to the extreme, one doesn't always know what will come flying out of her mouth. Only that they should stop, and listen.

Miranda's daughter and Mason's girlfriend, Lily has been seeing her lover in secret for over a year now. She is a quiet, timid young lady, and has been since before the "event" at New Hope Orphanage, but when she's with Mason everything seems to fall in place in her life. She still suffers from night terrors, and they seem to be getting worse. It's only one more incentive to get the hell out of this backwater town, if only life were that simple.

One of the "Playground Seven" who ran away with Toby when shit went down, Liam has since grown into a young man with a bad streak that makes Toby look like an Angel in disguise. From armed robbery to petty crime, he's a bad boy like it's nobody's business. Still, when the call came for the documentary all Liam could see was dollar signs. He arrived in town a while ago, and has since taken to living in the Motel and visiting the alternative cowboy bar and nightclub on the other side of town on the Documentary's bottom dollar.

Not one of the survivors, simply a normal kid who went to high school in New Hope. Mason has shown an interest in Lily since Miranda adopted her. Next door neighbors turned into secret lovers and that has since blossomed into a real relationship, the first for either of them. He tries to help her through the night terrors and the horror she experienced, but doesn't think anything short of leaving New Hope behind could possibly save her from them.

Baby Cakes' niece, Zoe has been living with her Aunt since her mother's suicide. She's a carefree girl with a lot of different "Experiences" under her belt. From drugs to sex, she's a handful for Baby Cakes, and always seems to find her way into trouble. Her auntie doesn't fight her on it, simply hoping that Zoe will eventually stop her hooligan antics and work through her mother's death.

A hive always has to have a queen. And Systrix is definitely the Queen Bee, at least in her own mind. Having such a strong, independent personality can lead others to getting the wrong impression of her. Or she's just a bitch. The jury's still debating. Anyway, with a couple of rich, do-goodie parents and a life of luxury, she's pretty much tried to ignore her past at New Hope. Still, something always pulls her that way when she re-imagines her past. Something happened there, and maybe now she will find out what.

Avery always wanted to be Normal. Just an everyday person doing any average old thing. Unfortunately for her, life is rarely so kind as to give in to our dreams. Orphan. Ward. Homeless. She's been many things, but normal isn't one of them. Now there's one last chance to get her story out there about what happened all those years ago at New Hope, but will it be her saving grace, or her damnation? I doubt Avery will ever feel "Normal" again.

Spoiled. Arrogant. Narcissist. There are MANY words to describe Beau. A ruthless, uncaring, self-absorbed child, his whole purpose in life seems to be standing on the backs (or necks) of others to get ahead of the game. His flirtatious and open side will definitely make him something of a showboat in the group, but how far is he really willing to go for this story? Something tells me more than the spotlight is ready for Mr Key.

One of the few to actually be interested in what happened all those years ago, Charlie has gone above and beyond to try and find out exactly where the destruction of the Orphanage came from. He's made several trips back to New Hope in an effort to find out, but without any answers. Hopefully this time he will walk away with more than disappointment.

A man on a mission, Kevin is one of the few outsiders interested in what happened to the Orphanage all that time ago. Although his motive does make him part of this, he won't share it with just anyone. Someone has to get close enough to find out the horrible truth of his past. Still, his perseverance and staunch search for the truth has garnered him a reputation among the police in the local area, and they respect his judgement on most cases.
