Indigo grew up in the Orphanage alongside his older sister, Violet. He was always a free spirit, however since the "incident" the boy has become a full-blown mediumistic spirit-chasing hippie. From tarot cards to healing crystals, the boy is a walking voodoo stall. Substance abuse has been a way of coping with the disappearance of his sister, who vanished during the event. Whether or not she is alive is unknown, but Indigo is determined to find out one way or the other. When he was invited to return to his old home for a "Documentary" on the event, he saw his chance to once again search for her, and this time he won't leave without answers.

========== Leo Grey (AKA Bubbles Iman) (Ajathekween) ==========

Being a drag queen in the south? And an orphan to boot? Leo Grey had a rough childhood to say the least. Even with all of the world seemingly working against her, she still found time to be kind to others during her time at New Hope. Since growing up, she has become a success to some extent, but still struggles with the memories and nightmares from this place. Returning may empower her, or break her. It's up to Leo to decide.

========== Nicole Montgomery (nateclove) ==========

A former Child Psychiatrist who worked directly with New Hope's orphans, Nicole was there that fateful day when everything fell apart. She still blames herself for several of the children's untimely demises, as her fight-or-flight instinct kicked in, and the latter won out. She has since left the field entirely and devoted her life to her work in an effort to remove the demons from her life. When a call came asking her to participate in a Documentary on the event, she was hesitant to go for herself, but the need to find the answers to what happened that day finally pushed her to accept her fate, and return to the scene of her greatest misery.

One of the "Playground Seven" Michelle was outside when everything went to hell. The blast sent her careening across the ground, and at some point her soul just didn't quite stick with her body. After the event, she was changed forever. Her bright and happy life was turned into a dark and muddled mess, and her personality changed with it. She would like nothing more than to escape this darkness that is now her whole life, but unfortunately the world has other things in mind.

One of the older "Orphans" of the group, Elliot is one of those who escaped New Hope as soon as he could. His adoptive family wasn't the best, but he's made a decent life for himself. Elliot's status as a Reporter is definitely not his most charming feature. His self-centered and uncaring nature make him the perfect information gatherer who isn't afraid to lie and manipulate even those closest to him to get the story. Unfortunately for him, this time it may be the story that finally gets him.

Somewhat of a Prude is the best way to describe Edwin. He has led a rather dull and uneventful life despite the "event" at New Hope. However, his sense of right and wrong is unparalleled. He follows a strong code of justice that will no doubt be a beacon during the times to come. Returning to New Hope may just be the push he needs to finally face his own inner demons.

========== Baby Cakes (MudkipzFTW) ==========

Owner of the New Hope Diner, known to the locals simply as "Baby Cakes' Diner," she is the sweet, motherly, outgoing member of the community. Church choir girl, all around selfless, caring, loving type. Though when roused up she can become a momma grizzly, intent on taking down anyone who tries to hurt one of her friends. She recently lost her sister to a suicide, and has been taking it hard, though nobody will ever hear her say the words aloud.

He's been surrounded by loss and heartache his whole life. His family murdered. His friends dying in the "event". His adoptive mother dying to cancer. Espen has led a hard life, and it's about to get much harder. Because of his constant losses, he blames himself. His grim-reaper-esque outlook may prove to be his undoing, and that of everyone around him. Or it may be his saving grace. Only time will tell.

A responsible and kind individual during the day who isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and get to work. But at night? A total freak in the sheets with virtually anyone who will have her. Desiree's whole personality took a strange twist following the blast, and since then she's turned to other methods of "rocking her world". On that fateful day, she was one of the older children who ran out back to find the source of the screams. But she was the only one to make it out alive. What happened to the others, nobody knows. Not even Desiree.

========== Mayor Titweiller (MudkipzFTW) ==========

The man behind the entire documentary, Mayor Titweiller not only funded the return of the former wards, but even personally put in the request with the local news station and even an international set for the publicity it would bring his town. He's all about the numbers, and will work tirelessly to make his dream of stardom a success. Those who work for him would label him as narcissistic and manipulative, with secret motives nobody can yet discern. But it probably has a lot to do with something green.

One of the interviewers working closest with the Documentary, he will be leading most of the interviews with the former wards. His sweet and caring personality on camera masks his all-present uncaring and unappreciative attitude. He's a rather selfish individual who loves living in the limelight. I'm not sure he'll enjoy the spotlight that WILL be on him and those around him shortly.

A bully and a c*nt to everybody, especially her twin sister. Remi is definitely the "Bad Girl" of the group, and no childhood horror is to blame. She's just always been a bitch. Using her life experiences for all things evil, she can be a vindictive, narcissistic, manipulative witch with no soul. Still, she isn't INHERINTELY evil, and will not COMPLETELY go over to the dark side of the force. Though she leans that way. A LOT.

The more "emotionally baggaged" of the twins, Naomi is closer to a sweet angel to her sisters fiery demon. Though they have always been a "Package Deal" when it comes to adoption, for Naomi it's like being trapped in a never-ending cycle of mental abuse. This has left her a sobby, weepy, broken little girl who only seems to break out of her shell when she tries to quell her sister's outbursts. To no avail. Obviously...

A runaway with a rebellious streak a mile wide, Toby was forced to break away from his new family and return to New Hope for this gig. Ten years prior, he and a few other Orphans from the "Playground Seven" made a break for it and never looked back. Since then, he's made a well enough life for himself. But what will become of all that now that he's returning? Is he in for a grand reunion, or a rude awakening?

A bad boy with a puff puff patch, Trent Mcmillion was the epitome of a difficult child during his stay in the Orphanage. From not doing his chores, to abandoning schoolwork in favor of writing and drawing, the boy is a regular Fonzie of the Wards. And yet, he's living his best life. He puts his best foot forward every day, even if it is a lazy effort, and enjoys the life he's been blessed with in the best way he knows how; doing nothing of import... One can only wonder what will happen when New Hope gets ahold of him.
