CHRISTIAN!

Christian earns the title for Hero of the Season, because when putting everything into the bigger picture, of those who played the game hard whilst they were here, he was the one who had the biggest stance of loyalty and maintained that loyalty throughout. Whilst basically every other person who placed higher than him, with the exception of a couple arguable people, betrayed at least one other person who had close trust in them, Christian remained loyal to those he was with throughout his duration in the game, and earns him the title for Hero of the Season.

XAKIM!

Xakim earns the award for the Villain of the Season, mostly because of the cutthroat way he played the game to many of his other allies. Key moments in particular include directly forwarding the answers Joey provided in the final Veto round at Final 6 to Birks, and this being what ultimately got Joey evicted, as well as in general playing all sides, and subtly backstabbing people, being a key reason as to why many of the jurors ended up there. Had Xakim made the end, this would give him one of the strongest games to have been played, and hopefully a rewarded win, but instead his conniving ways earn the title for Villain of the Season instead.

RACHAEL!

The award for Underdog of the Season was one that took a few minutes to think over, but ultimately this was deserved for Rachael. She was the first person to jeopardise herself massively by making The Threat 5 alliance publicly known and taking a shot, and this then resulted in her having to fight from the bottom for the numerous rounds following, each round playing hard despite the odds being stacked against her, and in so many of these rounds being able to twist things into her favour, so they worked out and allowed her to survive a further round.

EOIN!

There were two key contenders for this award, Eoin and Jay. Ultimately, this award went to Eoin because although his time in the game not being a lengthy stay, he still managed to have an impact. Coming into this season in the eyes of being a criminal by many which gave him the risk of being first boot, he remained solid and had a competition ‘win’ where he was able to spice up the game in his Eoin way for a round. His potential ended up being cut, and he definitely had a lot more that he could give had he lasted longer, but his short time was still a good time.

BIRKS!

This season, the award for Player of the Season was definitely a lot more of a difficult one, partially due to the fact basically every player this season had some kind of key flaw to their game. Had Birks won, Anthony would be the recipient of this award.

But, despite Birks not being AS invested in the initial rounds of the game, the dominance he had in the later stages of the game are what carry him here. From Final 9 onwards, this became very Birks focused, with him being the cause for his side winning both the Vetoes in the Double Veto round; to surviving the following round which should have been a clear shot for players to take him out; then in the end game, he dominated, winning critical competitions and taking out the correct people at the right time. Ultimately, this was not enough to award him the win, but it shouldn’t be unnoticed how dominant he ultimately did play the second half of this game.
