BIRKS!
This season, the award for Player of the Season was definitely a lot more of a difficult one, partially due to the fact basically every player this season had some kind of key flaw to their game. Had Birks won, Anthony would be the recipient of this award.
But, despite Birks not being AS invested in the initial rounds of the game, the dominance he had in the later stages of the game are what carry him here. From Final 9 onwards, this became very Birks focused, with him being the cause for his side winning both the Vetoes in the Double Veto round; to surviving the following round which should have been a clear shot for players to take him out; then in the end game, he dominated, winning critical competitions and taking out the correct people at the right time. Ultimately, this was not enough to award him the win, but it shouldn’t be unnoticed how dominant he ultimately did play the second half of this game.
