Nin: "The international portion of the cycles are always the hardest because not only are the challenges the hardest to adjust to, not only does a new environment threaten to throw anyone off their game, but because you have to translate your beauty to a whole other culture of fashion; something only top supermodels can do successfully!"

Nin: "It might be a lot to take in, but for this photoshoot, we're diving headfirst into the wonderful waters of this beautiful location! You've already performed in the zodiac challenge but this week, we're taking a more...in depth look at China!"

Nin: "This week, you are going to model based on something from China that inspires you! Whether it be the glorious architecture, the high fashion people, the ancient history, maybe even the tasty food if you're up to it; it's up to YOU this week to pick an aspect of China that you can reflect and bring to life in a photo!"

Nin: "In addition, an explanation for your selection is MANDATORY this week! We want not only a model who can look intriguing in a photo but a model that can also show that they are actively thinking during a photoshoot and express themselves in a professional manner! The explanation for your photo will also be involved in the judging process so no backsliding!"

Nin: "Be fierce. Be unique. And, most importantly; BE. A. BOSS!!!!!!!!!!"

The chinese culture values the color of red as it symbolizes good luck and happiness for them.  The picture has many different flowers representing different themes in china. The lotus is one of china’s most significant flowers in their culture as it symbolizes buddha and Peonies represent the spring and honor. Lastly, the chinese tassel knots are a common decor in china as it symbolizes luck as well.

In this photo I am strong and represent a chinese warrior defending my homeland. China was known for centuries as the far easts mightiest military, and this photo represents that.

For this challenge I decided to chose a fierce Chinese warrior fighting on top of the great wall of china. The Great Wall of China was important to the Chinese because it protected  the Western Chinese people from attacks of the Eastern Chinese people.

Sarah pays tributte to the yueji, chinese artists and prostitutes in this photoshoot and to their history. Very similar to the japanese geisha, in fact, if you try to search for differences you cant find them anywhere on the web

Weddings. Who doesn't love them? For this photoshoot I decided to get back to Chinese roots. This modern high fashion wedding dress says it all. From the color Red that represents good luck is absolutely fitting for the occasion. The flowers on the dress represent life and celebration. For China, living is what it's all about. To be in the present is to live. I hope you judges enjoy the photo and as always I'm honored to be here.

EXPLANATION:
For the challenge I have decided to incorporate my favorite color blue into my photoshoot along with Fashion in the theme of Chinese Culture. In China,blue is a very important color. It’s an important color not only for it’s beauty and gracefulness but because of the Symbols blue represents. Healing,Calmness,Exploration, Trust, and Immortality all Represent this Beautiful color in Chinese culture.Not only does it represent this color, but It also represents this model who appreciates and respects china and its culture.Healing represents the model’s drive to heal the world of imperfections and war. Calmness means that the model is content,happy, and at peace with whatever challenges face her. Exploration represents the Model’s passion to not only explore the world and the culture around her, but to explore the fire within that fuels this passion. Trust means to the model that she has faith in her future. She trusts that the world will evolve around her and that she too will evolve as a person. Finally, Immortality represents the Model’s will to live forever even in death. The Model hopes that the life she lives means something when she is no longer here and hopes to leave a impact that will help the world become a better place, and that will implant a legacy that will last forever.
