This crime wasn't perfect, but I always have a back-up plan.
After receiving his Scared card, Elian decided to try to relax by playing Solitaire in his bedroom, which was evident by the game half-finished on his bed. Because it was so late at night, all other lights were out in the house, so no one noticed when I flipped the breaker to the victim’s bedroom, bathroom, and the Grand Foyer. No one except for Elian, of course, who correctly assumed that the breakers had been flipped, but didn’t guess that I had flipped them in just their room. I quickly climbed the stairs and went to the Foyer Bathroom, out of sight of the victim.
As he came downstairs to the boiler room, using his flashlight for guidance, he aimed it at the door to the breaker box. However, they missed two key details. One, I installed a light sensor, notifying me Elian arrived in the boiler room on my tablet. And two, I sharpened the edge of the door, intending to bash his skull against it. However, I overestimated his intelligence.
As Elian grabbed the door, he cut his hand, dropping the flashlight, and leaving him growling in pain. To keep my identity secured, I came down the stairs, pretending to hear a ruckus, asking if he was ok. After seeing the cut, I knew I had to enact Plan B, and led him to the top of the stairs, his bloody land leaving a trail on the way up.
Once there, however, it was a simple as one push, to cause him to roll all the way down and crack his head on the concrete, killing him. Although he did try to catch himself, leaving the scratches in the doorframe. And, for some extra fun, I brought the #11 billiard ball from the game room and rolled it in Elian’s blood, just to see who’d buy it.
My last moves of this particular event? Turn off and take the flashlight and Elian’s dirty robe, leaving him solitaire in the boiler room, blood oozing from his head.
