Introducing the ‘Gods & Goddesses’ Twist:
At the beginning of the game, each player will randomly be assigned a Greek God, so that there is one of each Greek God on each tribe. Each player will be privately told what Greek God they are, and a player’s Greek God will only be revealed to the cast when they are voted out. Each Greek God is unique in that they each have an ability that can be used to help their game.
Zeus - God of Lightning
Ability: At the conclusion of the Immunity Challenge, you can choose 1 Player to be struck by a Lightning Bolt, meaning that they must submit their vote for Tribal Council 6 hours earlier than the deadline. When a player has been struck by a Lightning Bolt it will be announced in the main forum, however, the identity of the player who struck them will remain anonymous. [Can be used twice].
Hades - God of the Underworld
Ability: At the conclusion of the Immunity Challenge, you can send 1 Player of the losing Tribe to Exile Island. The chosen player will not attend Tribal Council, meaning that they cannot vote and cannot be voted for. You cannot send yourself to Exile Island. [Can only be used once].
Poseidon - God of the Sea
Ability: During Tribal Council, you can choose 1 Player to have their vote Lost at Sea. When a player's vote is Lost at Sea, their vote will be completely nullified for that Tribal Council. When a player's vote has been Lost at Sea it will be announced before the reading of the votes, however, the identity of the player who caused this to happen will remain anonymous. [Can only be used once].
Ares - God of War
Ability: At any point in the game, you may challenge 1 Player to a Duel. You can challenge someone them to a Tribe Swap Duel, Vote Steal Duel, or Elimination Duel. The challenged player must participate in the Duel, however, they will select the Duel type from a list of predetermined options. [Can only be used once].
Tribe Swap Duel:
Winner: Can choose to swap the losing player with themselves
Loser: Could potentially be tribe swapped
Vote Steal Duel:
Winner: Steals the vote of the loser for the next Tribal Council
Loser: Cannot vote at the next Tribal Council
Elimination Duel:
Winner: Remains in the game
Loser: Is eliminated
Athena - Goddess of Wisdom
Ability: During Tribal Council, you can choose 1 Player's vote to be revealed to you during the entirety of that Tribal Council. You will be notified who the Player changes their vote to in the event a vote change occurs. The selected player will not be notified that you have chosen their vote to be revealed to you. [Can only be used once].
Aphrodite - Goddess of Love
Ability: At any point in the game, you can select 1 Player, and their Greek God and whether or not they have used their Ability will be revealed to you. The selected player will not be notified that you have chosen their Greek God to be revealed to you. [Can only be used once]
Artemis - Goddess of the Hunt
Ability: At the conclusion of the Immunity Challenge, you can place a Bounty on another player's head. If the player who has the Bounty on their head is voted out at that Tribal Council, you will receive Immunity from the next Tribal Council you attend. When a player has a Bounty placed on them it will be announced in the main forum, however, the identity of the player who placed on the Bounty will remain anonymous. [Can only be used once].
Hera - Goddess of Marriage
Ability: Before the Immunity Challenge, you can select 2 Players, yourself included, to be married. Players who become married will be linked to their partner, meaning that if their partner is voted out, they will immediately be eliminated as well. If one partner wins Immunity or has a Hidden Immunity Idol played on them, the other partner will also be immune. The marriage will last for 3 rounds during the Tribal Phase, and will last for 2 rounds during the Merge. When two players have been married only they will both be notified, however, the identity of the player who arranged the marriage will remain anonymous. [Can only be used once].
