Hi guys, different host again! Well done to all of you for making it to round eight of Music Taste! As per usual, all 8 songs that are submitted will be ranked from our favourite to our least favourite.
However, last round we promised you a twist, and here it is! The judges feel as though this isn’t moving fast enough and your opinions on each other aren’t being heard. SO, this round will be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION!
Here’s how it’ll work: as per usual, the song with the highest average ranking will earn immunity for the final 6 whilst the song ranked lowest will leave the competition. However! The only rankings revealed will be the highest placed song and the lowest placed.
From there, the person with the highest ranked song MUST choose one other song to be eliminated. Tim, because you have immunity, you will be safe for this round (we told you this round would be a good round to have immunity).
The person with the power to eliminate may eliminate however they want. They can choose to eliminate based on the songs, past performances, friends, alliances, however they feel they should! But they MUST choose one person.
For this round, the theme is 'Music Videos’, which means each of you will have to submit a song paired with its music video! We are looking for a media that influences us with both the song AND video and goes well together!
You all have 24 hours to submit your entry, and when the songs are ranked TWO of you will be axed from the competition.
