Each pair will compete together for their first challenge.

Each pair will get a poll and it is their job to get as many votes on the poll as possible.

The three pairs with the most votes will win immunity and get to pick which tribe they will be on.

Both singles tribes will go to tribal council in the first round, Laojiang and Xinxiu.

However, that does not mean that the three pairs that win the challenge must join Pengyou.

The top three pairs will have the option to split up to begin the game, which will allow them to team up during the swap portion of the game.

If they choose to split up, they will receive individual immunity for the first tribal council.
