"Autumn"

Hello, Top 10! Welcome to your challenge this week. Today, you will meet one of our very own judges, judging his second challenge for this season, Judge Garrett.

For this very enchanting challenge, we are celebrating September - most specifically, the start of the Autumn season. In this challenge, your mission is to capture the essence of autumn's transition through fashion, emotion, and nature's beauty.

This is a very open challenge, open to interpretations as long as it does feel like Autumn. You can choose to capture (1) The Fall Wonderland - a woodland setting transformed by the colors of autumn, hues of red, orange, and gold, (2) Fashion of the Season - be styled in cozy and luxurious sweaters, flowing scarves, chic hats, and stylish boots in rich earthy tones or you may also opt to capture (3) September Serenity - by channeling the introspective and peaceful vibe of autumn.

Again, does not matter what path you take. Just capture the feels of Autumn.

Autumn 🍂 The transition from summer to autumn is a sweet time. The clothes change to long sleeves to long pants but always thinner and not thick clothes yet with earthy tones. Chanel here captures the autumn fashion in an office style fashion look. The combination of the heels makes the look sexier and more feminine thus giving a perfect stylistic proposal. The choice of the office look has already been made because September for the most people is the month when everyone starts their work again after the summer holidays . Chanel emphasizes the clothes and styles and colors of autumn in contrast to the sun that is to be photographed which at first glance the sun reflects summer. A transition / contrast between the two seasons

Autumn is a season of transition, as soon after it, winter tends to arrive. It is characterized, in most countries, by yellow, brown and orange tones and also marks the beginning of the fall of some leaves and flowers of the trees.

In the photo, Anja Rubik is in a different setting than usual, but that is marked by orange, yellow and brown tones, emphasizing the known coloration that marks autumn. Anja is crossing the gate in a purposeful way, to represent the transition that is autumn, as it is a season that precedes winter. I chose to wear a cozy and impactful outfit, in earthy tones, characterizing the fashion style of the season that is autumn.

In this way, Anja is representing autumn in two main characteristics: the colors and the style of clothing, as well as the concept of transition of the season. A light garment like a leaf that falls in autumn.

Alton Mason is going to embrace the #serenity of September on this shoot. We had different options to choose of how to represent the theme here and I'm 100% sure this way is the best one for Alton. My pose has movements, is making all my body work but still I can effortlessly give a calm, relaxed and natural body/face expression. That's the point: whenever the life tries to make you nervous, worried, anxious... just breathe in breathe out and raise the serenity up. The colors I'm using here kinda represents the autumn season so I feel that you can realize the message at first second or third look easily. In general i feel that all details fits on the theme, my pose, look and face are individually fierce but when you check all together it becomes even more unique.

I am embracing the serenity of September and what Autumn represents. It represents change and the start of shedding in to the new. It is a start of a transformation and leaving what has gone before. A time of reflection. That's what im giving in this photo.

My clothing, a blend of comfort and chic, mirrors the dichotomy of this moment, capturing the essence of the in-between: the convergence of hot and cold, the harmonization of summer and winter. I remember (as Spinfur) growing up is a low residential area with woods around me and lake that would just look so peaceful and beautiful in the fall. Of course I was always warned not swimming in it due to the bacteria and all that, but I decided to take a nod to my childhood and bring a photo that brings both elements of fall nature but also a photoshoot capturing serenity. I have quite a wide shot encapsalating the lake, while also you can see me posing on the branch laying down enjoying the beautiful feeling of fall around me. Everything is peaceful, still, calm, something that serenity requires.

When I think of the beginning/transition into the autmn season, the first thing I think of is all of the flowers in full bloom after the summer months. Pretty soon, the flowers will begin to dwindle as the temperature drops, so enjoy them while you can! That is what I wanted to highlight in this photo, with a rich array of roses with an editorial backdrop of the sky and grass done in the studio, not in nature. With this, I think it adds a touch of sophistication and appreciation to curate such a display. But, as can be seen, the rose petals are starting to fall from their stems.

Hunter being dressed in black boots with a warm long black sweater speak to the changing seasons. Color-wise, black is the hard contrast between pastel pinks and reds, indicating a shift in weather soon. Moreover, the heavier clothing choices are a signature of the temperatures beginning to drop. This is a softer face for Hunter as per the usual, but is suitable for the serenity and ease of autumn.

Guinevere.

I have decided to channel the energy and serenity of the autumn season.

Guinevere is seen posing effortlessly against the wall, enjoying the warmth of the sun as it tickles her skin from the window. The setting is rich with earthly colors, to embody the aesthetic nature of the season. Our gaze are also gets drawn to the deer, and to state a fact about them, most deer are born between April and June, the young will reach maturity through the autumnal months, making it the perfect season to watch a full grown adult up close.

This photo truly represents the calming serene nature of the season. Guinevere isn't phased by the deer, as she is embracing the warmth of the weather showing she is completely relaxed and tranquil.

Autumn is a wind-down season that makes me seek comfort – a transformation into a cozy attire. A distinct emotional shift away from the bright bustle of summer to mellow warm evenings.

In my shot I am focused on its fashion, going fashion forward in a Searing coat and knit vest, striped shirt, monogram pattern pants, Carrying a canvas tote bag, long fancy leather boots and leather headgear to match with it.
My facial expression shows the laid back gloomy emotion that autumn brings while I am also posing in cozy looking room with a wooden wall and a carpeted floor. I am also representing earthy tones of Autumn from my clothes to my surroundings.
