Nowadays, celebrities or public figures are basically held under a microscope and observed for the tiniest actions or reactions. Instead of focusing on a movie or show for this photoshoot I decided to go towards a more abstract concept.
Being in the spotlight at times is a bit hard because everyone yearns some sort of privacy in their personal lives and that is what I'm trying to show on this shot. No matter how much I try to cover myself with the veil it is still see-through and my privacy is basically none-existent.

Description: my theme "Do Anything For Clout" because nowadays most Millennials are so obsessed with drawing attention to themselves & getting clout when it comes to apps such as tic toc, Twitter Instagram or Facebook this younger generation will do anything to get some clout so for this photoshoot I am inspired by these younger kids hoeing themselves out to get as many followers as possible. To have clout is to have influence or power. In pop culture, people with clout are seen as popular and cool. And what will draw more attention than being semi nude?!

Fashion has always been a huge part in pop culture. Varying from red carpets to movies to music videos, fashion has been a staple in pop culture as a whole. The things worn on the red carpet, tv shows, movies, or music videos are the “next big trend” in the eyes of the every day people. They become statements. From the iconic heathers look to the Britney Spears snake look. From those words, you have an idea and an image of exactly what I’m talking about. I wanted to bring one of those moments in pop culture alive for you. I have 3 words for this photo J-Lo green dress.

For this week's photoshoot, I wanted to do 2 different pop culture references. The first one being the queen of tennis, Serena Williams! You can see the tennis inspiration through the prop and the background. The second one being "The Wizard Of Oz" which you can see through the design on the shirt.

As soon as I heard the theme for this photoshoot I immediately knew that I was going to show you the life of Wakanda based off of the 2018 Marvel film Black Panther! It was a moment for Marvel films and I just wanted to show my interpretation of it!

I have to admit, the book series-turned-movie franchise I chose to represent might not be the most respectable one, but I will argue that it has firmly established its place on modern pop culture. I'm talking about "50 Shades of Grey". If you don't know, the franchise detailed the romantic, dramatic and extremely sexual adventures of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. I am of course trying to emulate the male main character Christian Grey in my photo, with his flirty demeanor and suit apparel. I would argue that Christian himself is kind of an iconic character, after all it takes a lot to lead a whole generation of wine moms to fantasize about you whilst being a book character.
