"Winners' Circle"

Hi guys, today will be having an exciting photoshoot, because for this week you'll be portraying someone who has been a winner. Yes, because for today's photoshoot you are going to be living the life of the 12 winners of Next Top Model franchise, namely - L, Ebony, Karlie, Edward, Marlon, Lindsey, Cara, Lucky, Saskia, Augusta, Lenox and most recently, Garrett.

This photoshoot was also featured at the 11th cycle of the Next Top Model. Now don't be too shallow on how you will interpret the winners, not just because e.g. someone has a lot of sitting photos, you'll do a sitting one. To be fair, we will judge your photo solely by looking as well on how the users of the winners pick a photo (the winners portfolio), because the first 2 franchise of the cycle had different models. Go outside your comfort zone, and explanation is a MUST.

It will be a 24 hours shoot, failure to submit on time means deduction of points. Below will be the assigned winners and the photos they made in their cycle. Thank you and goodluck! x

Explanation:

I chose this photo to portray because I feel that I am coming out of my comfort zone a little bit because this photo of Garrett is showing his whole body and I wanted to take a different approach and decided to do a close up with almost the same pose the arm is doing

I wanted to highlight how much of an editorial supermodel Cara is and this photo represents this whilst paying homage to the "wet look" that Cara had on her original season however making it a little more fashion.

I wanted to highlight the editorial nature of Saskia's modelling career and the similaristies between Shaun and herself. I understand that Saskia uses darker colours and contrasts a lot and fits with the traditional high fashion nature of the modelling world, producing stellar imagery with a conceptual style. I believe this is presented within Shaun's image due to the confident pose alongside the bizarre styling which juxtaposes the smarter clothing choice. I believe Saskia has an air of androgyny throughout her work aswell which is something which is shown in Shaun's styling alongside his strong demeanor mimicking that of Saskia's. Overall, I believe the image represents Saskia well in her presence as a model alongside being a generally well-rounded image.

With Lucky’s portfolio I notice that all of his photos have a very masculine appearance but some of his photos have a feminine undertone. I am portraying very masculine in the pose and clothes while staying feminine in the face.

My inspiration for this weeks photo came from the ingural winners lion photo shoot (https://postimg.cc/QHpX6PtP ). I think that this was a unique and fierce photo which stood out among every other winner photos.

Seeing Karlie's portfolio i saw how her has been always the biggest star, she never needed a magnificent background to shine, she was always the main focus and thats what im giving today, me being the main focus on this shot, no background, only Chanel!

my intentions after reviewing lindsey's portfolio were to convey two recurring elements i noticed: the first being the general style and aesthetic of her photographs, with a number of the photos being monochromatic/grim in tone (sans the few which display actual pops of colour), and the second being the intense look she often gives with her eyes.

I chose this pic for two reasons

Outer beauty- both these shots are black and white and both these shots represent strong males who are not appears to showing off what they got

Inner beauty “-both these pics represent someone who is confident , a risk taker and not shy to do something unique to get a shot done. Commitment is a big deal and this shot represents two people who are willing to do what it takes to get the shot done and not scared of how the shot will portray them
