You will each get $500 to bid on items. You may bid $500 on every item but once you win an item with that bid, the rest of your bids will be null and void. With this same logic, if you big $300 on Item 1 and later bid $500 on Item 3 and you WIN Item 1, your bid on Item 3 will be lowered to $200 to accommodate. Any ties will be settled through a random chatzy pick. If you lose in a tie, it is as if you never bid at all.
