To begin, the 30 players were divided into 1 of 2 classes, Veterans and Rookies based on previous RSF Experience. This was based on the statistic known as RSF Series Points which on the wiki is defined based on previous RSF seasons in which you earn 1 point for each individual you did better than in a former RSF Season with point deductions for Quits or Inactivity leading to Elimination. In the event of a tie, which there was one, the tiebreaker was number of seasons previously participated in with the Veteran being in more.

The initial pairs will contain at least 1 member of EACH CLASS but after that, anyone can face anyone in the Pit so members of the same CLASS can be partners in this game but only by reigning victorious in the Pit.
