- Shields my face as the seeker dissipates, crawling towards the gun and grabbing it, turning around and shooting at another one -
- The flames destroy the rest of them, the gym falling eerily silent -
     ... Why..
- Looks at Alistair, breathing heavily -
     Why wasn't my magic working?

A few reasons...
*Walks over to her, helping her up*
You were holding a warded weapon and uh... this
*Lifts his shirt, his tattoo glowing blue*
It's automatic, defense system for well... just myself I guess

- Stands up with his help, handing him the gun -
     Oh, great, so your tattoo renders me useless..
- Looks at the ceiling, sparks from the ruined wires still occasionally spewing out -
     How are we going to explain this?

I'll... they'll handle it
*Glances around*
Collateral damage isn't a new thing

- Glances at him, slightly dumbfounded -
     Isn't a new thing? How many times have you wrecked this place?
- Looks at him for an answer before a loud crash sounds through the gym as a body flies through one of the windows -
- Jumps back in shock, staring at the body -
     Jesus, who..

*Walks over to the body*
That's... a student, right?
*Turns and looks at her*

- Approaches the body, standing behind Alistair, gasping and holding my hands to my mouth when I recognize him -
     That's... that's Brian..

- The camera pans outside of the gym to reveal the silhouette of a person with a crossbow, staring at the gym for a few seconds before turning around and walking away -
