You want to get a firm hold on the gun, then when you think you have at least 50% control you yank it away. If you're in the right position and have a steady hold on the gun then you should be able to get it with no problem

- Bites my lip and watches our hands, gripping onto the gun and taking a deep breath -
- Waits a few moments and yanks, pulling the gun from his hand, spinning around and holding it up with a smile -

*Bites his lip, holding his hand up and muttering something to himself. His hand bursts into blue flame and after a moment he pulls it back*

That's not good...

- Looks from the roof to his hand -
     Can't it be like a neighbor or something? Is there a building above--
- Suddenly, a Seeker crashes through the roof, landing on all 4 fours in front of us, sparks from the lights flying everywhere, causing me to shield my eyes and jump back -
     Alistair!

*He grabs Lindsay and pulls her behind him, waving his hand as a blue ring of flames sprouts around them both*

*Glances at her*

- Looks at the seeker from behind Alistair with wide eyes, nodding -

*Sighs, looking back at them*

*Closes his eyes, the ring of fire slowly building to be thicker and thicker. It spreads out over the floor and burns any seekers that get too close*

(*Mattin makes a surprise appearance*)

- Watches the blue flames spread on the floor, hearing nails clicking on the ceiling -
- Glances up and sees a seeker above us, quickly pointing Alistair's gun at it and firing, the seeker bursting into dark smoke as the bullet hits it -

*the circle of fire begins to rotate, the flames whipping out randomly and striking seekers on the ground*

- Examines the gun for a moment, a seeker lunging at me while I'm distracted, knocking me out of the circle and onto the ground -

- Tries to uses magic to ignite my hand, but it doesn't work -

*Turns and sees Lindsay is stuck, taking a deep breath as a ward springs up under the seeker and it bursts into blue flames before turning into dark smoke and disappearing*
