Sometimes I think my boyfriend is immature and out of touch, but I let it go b/c he's a great guy and cares a lot about me.
Last night I asked him what his parents think about capitalism and he replied "idk what capitalism is." I explained it to him nicely and moved on, and then tonight we were talking and he didn't know what a democracy is.. (english is his 1st language and he grew up in Canada - a democracy).

Is this a turn off or am I being a complete asshole by thinking it is? But you don't know what a democracy is... girllllll....

Eh, guess it depends on what you're looking for. Is straight up intelligence is something that bothers you and your boyfriend doesn't possess it then move on I guess!
