Julie Chen: (addressing the house) It's time for the eviction ceremony. Ross, as the Head of Household, you'll only cast a vote in case of a tie.

[Ross Lynch nods, acknowledging his role in the upcoming eviction. Julie turns to Mercedes Varnado and Rina Sawayama.]

Julie Chen: Mercedes, Rina, you both have a chance to plead your case. Mercedes, you're up first.

[Mercedes Varnado stands, facing the houseguests.]

Mercedes Varnado: (casually) Hey, everyone. I know it's a game, and I respect that. I'd love to stay and keep competing, but if it's my time to go, no hard feelings. Let's keep things positive in here.

[She nods and takes her seat as Rina Sawayama stands.]

Julie Chen: Rina, your turn.

[Rina Sawayama addresses the house with determination.]

Rina Sawayama: I appreciate the opportunity to play this game, and I want to be honest. I believe I'm less of a challenge threat than Mercedes. If you keep me, I won't forget it.

[Rina sits back down, and the houseguests exchange glances, contemplating their votes. It's time for the eviction.]

Julie Chen: Houseguests, it's time to cast your votes to evict. Steve Lacy, you're up first...

[Each houseguest privately casts their vote in the diary room.]

Steve Lacy: I vote to evict Mercedes.

China Anne McClain: I vote to evict Rina.

Travis Kelce: I vote to evict Mercedes.

Dixie D'Amelio: I vote to evict Mercedes.

Booboo Stewart: I vote to evict Mercedes.

Mindy Kaling: I vote to evict Mercedes.

Shane Dawson: I vote to evict Mercedes.

Madelaine Petsch: I vote to evict Mercedes.

Steve Carell: I vote to evict Rina.

[The tension in the room is palpable as they return to the living room.]

Julie Chen: Once I reveal the votes, the evicted houseguest must leave immediately. By a vote of 7 to 2... Mercedes, you have been evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

[The camera focuses on Mercedes Varnado, who remains composed.]

Mercedes Varnado: (smiling) No hard feelings, y'all. Best of luck to everyone.

[Mercedes gathers her belongings, exchanges quick hugs with some houseguests, and walks towards the door. As she exits, the door closes behind her, and the remaining houseguests reflect on the eviction.]

[The scene transitions to outside the Celebrity Big Brother house, where Julie Chen stands ready to interview the evicted houseguest, Mercedes Varnado. The audience applauds as Mercedes walks out onto the stage.]

Julie Chen: (smiling) Welcome, Mercedes! How are you feeling right now?

Mercedes Varnado: (grinning) Hey, Julie! Well, I wish I could have stayed longer, but it's all good. I'm feeling good, positive vibes.

Julie Chen: You had a very casual and composed exit from the house. How did you manage to keep such a positive attitude?

Mercedes Varnado: (laughs) It's all about perspective. I knew going into this that it's a game, and not everyone can stay until the end. No point in being bitter about it. I had a great time, made some friends, and experienced Celebrity Big Brother. Can't complain!

Julie Chen: You mentioned in your eviction speech that you respected it's a game. Did you have a strategy going into the house, and do you think it played out the way you intended?

Mercedes Varnado: Yeah, I wanted to be genuine, make connections, and enjoy the experience. I didn't want to play too hard too fast. As for my strategy, well, it might not have been the winning one, but it was authentic.

Julie Chen: The houseguests seemed torn between you and Rina. Rina mentioned she believed she was less of a challenge threat than you. What are your thoughts on that?

Mercedes Varnado: Rina's a smart player, and I respect her honesty. In the end, it's up to the houseguests to decide what's best for their game. If they saw me as a threat, then that's their call.

Julie Chen: Any surprises or revelations about your fellow houseguests that you didn't expect when you entered the Big Brother house?

Mercedes Varnado: (smirking) Oh, you know, not really. Drama, alliances and friendships. It was exactly what I expected in there.

Julie Chen: Now that you're out of the house, who would you like to see go far in the game?

Mercedes Varnado: I've got to root for my girl, Rina Sawayama. She's got this.

Julie Chen: Well, Mercedes, thank you for being part of Celebrity Big Brother. We wish you all the best. Anything you want to say to the fans?

Mercedes Varnado: Thank you all for the support! My fans can find me in the ring on New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Keep watching Celebrity Big Brother, and may the best houseguest win!

[The audience applauds as Julie Chen and Mercedes Varnado share a final wave. The interview concludes as the focus shifts back to the ongoing drama inside the Celebrity Big Brother house.]
