I have 2 and a half years left in college. I am miserable and I am thinking about throwing in the towel. Walmart is paying for my college, but I am beyond burnt out at work on top of that I am getting 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. I am at a crossroads with all signs pointing at waving the white flag with college.
cheritaisdelicious I just took a break, but I am not even halfway through these classes and I am breaking down in ways I have never before. So many people were excited for me when they found out I was starting college and now I am afraid I will be letting people down and that kills me too.
Hate to see people go through this! Just know college isn't forever and it's a glimpse in your life that can really secure you financially for your future! You'll feel extremely accomplished if you stick it out and get that degree. But if you're feeling burnt out and need a break, school will always be there for you to go back to
are you able to reduce hours at work or cut back on the number of classes you take at once? If you could do either that might help. Try talking to your family too. Tell them it means a lot that they are proud of you but you are having trouble balancing everything. Good luck rhayden82
