Rookies are by far the best of the 5 games to enroll in and nearly every "top" player has made a profit T$ wise. The skill factor is much smaller than playing stars and the reward is bigger. With stars you have to finish 3rd to receive any karma whilst in a rookies if you achieve 8th place or higher you are guaranteed both karma and T$.
The algo will never be perfect and with the 15 player Castings now only paying a silly 5 karma to the winner, rookies is the only game that will give you a decent reward. Survivor and Duel require much more time and effort..and don't get me started on 'stars'.
