gavin whitson was a mediocre player

He never received a vote, but does that make him a good player?

The edit showed us someone who was a passive player who typically did things when people told him to do things. He was never in danger. When he was handed the extra vote, he used it as he was told to. He seemed to always be the last included in the plan.

Victoria even said on Twitter that she was with Gavin every step of the way, and she was more impressed with Chris' game of only a handful of days despite being with Gavin for almost the entirety of the game. He could have done A LOT more than than he ended up doing. Victoria was comfortable with bringing Gavin to the end, because she would have beaten him. Lauren would have beaten him. Devens would have beaten him. I am fairly certain Aurora was capable of beating him. And with Chris re-entering the game, he was able to beat him.

This is not a defense of production's advantage-boner or the flaws within this current version of the EoE twist. This is merely saying that everyone acting as if Gavin was robbed, is pretending they saw Gavin do more than he did and giving him credit for other people's moves.

EDIT: I also don't like saying this because he was one of my preseason favorites and I definitely saw potential. A factor as to why we never saw it was that he was always surrounded by Kama due to them going in with such a numbers advantage. Within the Kama group, he seemed to be the last one to be given information, which isn't a particularly ideal situation.
