Ik I just did one of these yesterday but after ANOTHER dramalicious and beautiful episode I must say some things have shifted.
-SAINT TIER-
1. Cara still, despite her OTTN this episode George said what we were ALL thinking: "Cara's an icon, so it was just an iconic Cara moment." The edit almost sold me she might be in danger but I knew she was too powerful to be stopped. What a treat that we have this woman.
2. GEORGIA. She has ascended. HILARIOUSLY underedited, this woman has pulled off UNDOUBTEDLY the two biggest moves of the season in dictating the idol play yesterday and in AVOIDING TRIBAL TONIGHT BY BEING TOO SICK, while not getting medevac'd. This has NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE and this woman is a game changer. Her and her MORNority alliance MUST survive at all costs and her survival of like 4 boot episodes in a row is truly inspirational. Her discarded HAT sitting limply on a tree back at camp got more screentime than her this week... but Georgia's hat CPPP5. (pictured above)
-LEGEND TIER-
3. WAI - Weakest person on the season..... WINS A PHYSICAL INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGE. This girl is HEARTLESS and CALCULATING and I got aftershock effects of her legendconic flip on George when she dropped Shannon like she was nothing tonight. Author of her OWN destiny in this game.
4. GEORGE - His MOR2 anti-breakout this episode was just <3. I wouldn't mind CPM/OTTM5 George every episode but he still got to speak and defend Saint Cara. Still the best male Survivor ever.
5. RACHEL - her ALSO winning the individual immunity after being specifically highlighted as a weak old bitch in every challenge so far? We HAVE to stan. Her stock rises for me with every moment she fights for the MORNority and her shedding some PSPV on Georgia for her illness tonight was absolutely heartwarming. CP5 legend honestly.
6. LAURA - I'm really a fan of how vacant she is always looking in the eyes. Perhaps the least iconic member of the MORNority but a solid figurehead regardless. Her love of nature really gave her a second chance in the game tonight, but we all know it's just because Andrew is her man in the wings waiting to jump back to the MORNority after merge.
-Good tier-
7. FLICK - Falling a little for me just by being a bit bland an obvious of a contender to win, her using Wai as a surfboard was legendary enough yesterday but now that the excitement of that has worn off and she failed to protect her #1 bitch Shannon I'm a little less impressed with her. But still a star.
8. KEZ - she has completely fallen off since her breakout ep but there's been something just.... stank? about her since she swapped to Brains that I have to acknowledge, it was really showcased today. She's definitely not winning but I found that relatable.
9. ANDREW - his rise may come as a shock but I cannot help but root for the MOR/UTR gremlin contingency on this season, his screentime today was really random, inconsequential and self-important sounding but he's still hot, not on-screen enough to annoy me and UNDOUBTEDLY a number for the MORN-ority. So sign me up I guess.
10. HAYLEY - her being this overexposed the last few episodes and getting a crushingly obvious winner edit is making me tire on her a little, her taking out Joey bought a LOT of goodwill for me but I'm less pleased she dethroned my ice queen Shannon. Nobody can say she did not just DESTROY Brawn beach after the challenge though and I have to respect it.
11. GERALD - Gone quiet the last few episodes since the swap but he is still a shockingly rootable man. Gives me potential last brawn member standing vibes and I don't mind it.
-Meh tier-
12. BADEN - still really apathetic towards him, he was such furniture in this episode and wasn't given ANY credit or narration in the plotline of Hayley flipping the entire tribe down boots, which I guess I'm not mad about because why let him talk? He seems boring but as other people keep saying, good choice in allies. I guess his random throwaway vote for Flick today that didn't even get read is kind of a #BigMove
-Bad tier-
13. EMMETT - I know he eventually swung the other way but the goodwill he's earned with me by being low-vis was immediately burned by his even ENTERTAINING the thought of voting out Cara. I know kez and gerald did this too but given that Emmett is edited as the figurehead of swappped-Brawns-on-Brain, I blame him. Still dumb.
14. DANI - you can basically swap her and Chelsea around idc but something about her STANK almost resonated with me tonight. I obviously dont agree but her immediately being like, "I would vote Cara RIGHT OUT" was kinda :o
15. CHELSEA - still a man, not much to say about her, she REALLY looked like a penis at tribal tonight which was kinda funny but not nice to look at.
16. SIMON - still by far the worst on the season, though I have some weird mixed emotions about him vs. Shannon.... I almost don't feel bad for Shannon because she was such a damn flop at being the ice queen overdog. I almost don't mind that she's gone, but I still HATE simon.
