Previously on Escape the Night
Hoop and Tina arrive in the Kingdom of Courtilly and revived Edme and Alec. The group meets the Jester who demands two of them put on a comedy show. Daphne and Catherine are voted into the death challenge resulting in Catherine getting stangled by the Jester.
1420 AD
Blacksmith: Its such a good day at my forge.
Suddenly the king comes in.
Blacksmith: King Craetious, I told you the armor wouldn't be ready until next week.
King Craetious: I'm not here for the armor, I came to give you a gift.
Magician: For you, the most helpful Blacksmith.
Blacksmith: Thanks.
He grabs the box from the Magician and opens it, causing him to have a wicked grin.
Back in the present
Velma: That was uncalled for Jester.
Tina: Yeah, you could have let them live.
Jester: And ruin all the fun, I think not.
Daphne: Can we have the gem now?
Jester: Here you go, now take it before I kill you alive.
He hands Daphne the gem.
Alec: You don't have to tell me twice.
Edme: Yeah, I'm not dying again.
Hoop: Let's go everyone. .
The group heads back to the lounge and reenter the room with the divine crown.
Ryan: Least we are almost done. Three more gems and we're done.
Matpat: Unfortunately that means three more of us have to die.
Hoop: Don't worry, I will try to keep as many of you alive as possible.
Alec: We'll see about that.
Edme: Go ahead and put the gem in Daphne do we can see where we are going next.
Daphne: With pleasure.
She goes ahead and puts the gem in.
Tina:So what's new on the map?
Velma takes a look.
Velma: It looks like we're going to a Blacksmith shop.
Matpat: Honestly that's kind of neat.
Ryan: It shouldn't be, blacksmiths make weapons and weapons kill us.
Matpat: Ooh, nevermind then.
Edme: Let's get going to our deaths.
Daphne: Stop being so grim Edme, we might be able to cheat death.
The group leaves and head to the Blacksmith shop.
On arrival
Alec: Look at all this stuff, it looks well made.
Blacksmith: Thank you.
Tina: Yeesh you startled us.
Blacksmith: So your the group the king was talking about. Go back to your lounge and vote 2 into the death challenge
Ryan: You heard him, let's go back.
The group hurries back and enter the voting room.
Velma: Its been awhile since we last voted in here.
Matpat: It has been. Its time to vote someone into the death challenge.
Ryan: Unfortunately it is your time

Daphne: Hopefully you will go in and prove yourself.

Velma: I'm sorry I have to do this.
Taps
Tina: I haven't see you do that much.

Edme: Your my ticket to avoiding the death challenge.

Alec: Unfortunately your neck is on the chopping block.

Matpat: The first person in the death challenge

Matpat: Daphne The Harlot.
Daphne: Really , back to back!!
Matpat: Second person in the death challenge
Flips card
Matpat: Velma The Wine Maker.
Velma: This is a sad day, I don't want to kill Daphne.
Matpat: Follow me.
The three of them go back to the Blacksmith shop where he is waiting .
Blacksmith: Alright for your death challenge, you must find and complete a suit of armor. First to do so wins.
Daphne: Good luck Velma
Velma: Good luck to you too Daphne.
Matpat: You may begin..
Both of them begin searching as fast as they can and ten minutes later.
Velma: I did it!!! I'm so sorry Daphne.
Daphne: I'll miss you.
The Blacksmith goes up to Daphne and swings his sledgehammer at her head, causing it to cave in.
