some of the cast of british television series 'eastenders' took part in a particularly witty and charming arrangement of songs from west end productions. the characters of roxie and christian took the leads in 'diamonds are a girl's best friend' from the musical 'moulin rouge'. bianca, whitney and ricky took the leads in 'wouldn't it be lovely' from the musical 'my fair lady'. gary, heather, minty, shirley, zainab and masood were the leads in 'saturday night fever'. ben was the lead in a non-vocal sketch of 'billy elliott'. jane and christian took the lead in a performance of 'supercalifragelisticexpialadocious' from the musical 'mary poppins'. the latter proved as a finale, and showed all the previous characters as well as introducing special appeareances from sean, lucy, peter, max, abby, lauren, tanya and many more. it was enjoyable and here's the link.
