My new work team this whole week hasn’t talked work and then today decided to talk about the Florida Gay bill
Really ignorantly and about unhoused people really badly
And said various transphobic or homophobic comments and at one point even said “I don’t care what people believe but I don’t want it shoved down my throat” and how 2 gay guys kissing is worse than a straight for a child to see
I even told them how I was house sitting for my girlfriend too and they were weird over it
I just got moved to a new team thankfully but I have never had a work situation like this with so much ignorance
Members of my family can’t bear it when lgbt people kiss on tv, but don’t mind if they’re straight because ‘that’s nornal’ 🙄 I’m a straight woman but it annoys me, gays kissing doesn’t affect me in the slightest.
Some people won’t change their minds tho. Hope your new team are better!
