( wyatt2001) I've seen your character application! As I had already almost finished writting the first episode, I'll add you in the next one)

Firstly, I want to give a huge thank you to those that applied and submitted characters. I'm hoping I can exceed your expectations, and write something that you 'want' to read, not 'have' to read.
Secondly, I'd like to apologise for the delay on this. I had the flu ;(. Bad timing, I know.
The full episode should be out tomorrow or Friday. I'm just polishing what I've written so it is all good quality.

The following is a teaser extract from THE WALKING DEAD / Season 1; Episode 1
Episode Title: "It Followed Me Home"

--BEGIN--

“I want to see the moon. What time is it?”
        “5 am,” he said.
“It’s Halloween today. Help me to the window.”
Scott linked his elbow with hers, and he could feel it shaking as they walked to the corridor’s end together.
“Do you know what Samhain is, Scott?” Mrs Alders asked.
        “I don’t, what is it?”
“It’s how Halloween began. It’s Celtic. On this phenomenal day, before the Celtic New Year, the line between the world of the living and the dead blurred. Death was no longer a time for rest,” Mrs Alders whispered, locking eyes with him, “and the dead returned to us.”
Scott gulped as quietly as he could. “Couldn’t that be a good thing? You could see your husband again.”
They stood before the cracked glass. Mrs Alders placed her hand on it and smiled at its cold shock.
“No,” she howled. “Cheating death brings nothing good to living.”

--END--

Please comment with any thoughts, feelings, questions, anything! I want everyone to be pumped for this!

The Walking Dead: Story Mode (Applications Closed) Oct 31, 2021
A long time ago – when it was much more popular – I wrote episodic stories with all the characters written by you, Tengaged. You created them, and I wrote them into being. The audience got to watch these characters evolve, interact with one another, and sometimes die.
Since then, I’ve earned a Creative Writing degree, and I’ve come back to the place where my passion for writing started. Writing can be a lonely experience, and directly involving the will of the audience into the story makes things much more engaging, I’ve found.
Yes, the title of this episodic story will be called “The Walking Dead”, but don’t let that fool you. This isn’t the same universe: it is inspired by. Some laws of The Walking Dead universe will remain, and some of them I will change to make an even better and engaging story than the show/comics. Expect to laugh, smile, worry, panic, and cry. This may be The Walking Dead, but the heart of this series will be who the characters are, how they interact with each other, and the decisions they make.
To submit a character into the story, complete the submission form below. If you have any questions, please follow me up on them in the comments or by mail. Every user is allowed to submit only 1 character for now. Have fun writing up a character and help me write some amazing stories!

Important note: Once your characters have been submitted and the story begins, I retain creative control over their representation and direction from that point onwards. This includes how they evolve as a person based on their experiences, their relationships, and their overall fates. If something displeases you, please let me know! We can have a conversation about what is distressing you and how to resolve said issue.
I will be in contact with you once the series is about to officially start.

New Game Idea: Bankruptcy Aug 11, 2017
TENGAGED GROUP GAME IDEA:
A game where a group of players, anywhere between 8-20, all begin with a set amount of money. This could either be $10, $15, $20 or $25. The advantage of playing with more money will become obvious as I explain.

In every cycle, one person is eliminated. This happens by becoming bankrupt (no longer having any money, aka, $0. During each cycle, the players will compete against each other is small, short competitions. The winner of each competition can chose to steal $5 from another player. For example: “Jonathen answers the question correctly, and can steal $5 from any player of his choice. He currently has $15. Jonathen decides to steal from Anna, who currently has $15. Jonathen now has $20. Anna now has $10.” Make sense? This minor competitions will continue until one person in the round has become BANKRUPT. This means they have lost the game. The cycle will then end and the next cycle of the game will begin the following day/ within the following days.

During every cycle, there will be a maximum of 20 minor competitions. If no one has become bankrupt by then, the poorest person is eliminated, and they must donate their remaining money to one player of their choosing.

At the end of each cycle, the richest player and the poorest REMAINING player have immunity for the following week. During this week, the richest player must donate $10 to the poorest player. So when the two players are no longer immune, the richest player will be $10 poorer and the poorest player will be $10 richer.

Throughout the game, no money is technically being lost. It is only being stolen/ transferred between players. As time goes on and more cycles pass, this means people, on average, gradually gain more money as players become bankrupt. This is when the amount a player steals increases. For example, if half the players have become bankrupt, and all the remaining players, on average, have $30 each, only being able to steal $5 at a time would become tedious. This is why the amount a player steals would increase; to keep the pace of the game going.

When it comes to the finale, there will only be 2 people who now control all the money. Depending on their gameplay and strategy, they may both have similar amounts of cash, or it could be split between them unequally. During the finale, the final 2 players have 3 options. To either SPLIT, STEAL, or COMPETE.
If both players split, they each win the money the currently have as a single player.
If one picks split and the other steal, the player that chose to steal takes all the money earned by both players.
If they both pick steal, both their cash prizes are halved, meaning they only win the game with half of what they had achieved. The other half of the money is distributed between the recently bankrupted players, with 3rd place receiving the highest % of the money, and so on.
But if only one player picks compete, they both enter a competition face-off. The winner takes 75% of the money. The loser goes home 2nd place and empty handed. The other 25%, similar to the steal-steal situation, is distributed among the recently bankrupted players.

So in theory, if there are like 16 players, each with roughly $15 to begin with, someone could win with a lot of money in their pocket! The only issue is, for this to actually work, it means players would have to transfer their starting money to my bank account and trust me to hold the money and trust me to award the money fairly and correctly. I don’t know how comfortable I feel with that idea… for someone could easily accuse me of stealing (even though I wouldn’t) and also, it only takes one angry loser who went bankrupt to start a row with me and accuse me of stealing their money and I don’t want that. Is there any solution to this? But on the other hand, I think this could be such a great game on tengaged! Where people could win actual money, without actually paying that much to play (like $10 isn’t much). And tbh, the starting prices to play could be anything.

But I don’t actually know if I’d be doing anything illegal by doing this. Please let me know your thoughts on whether this is a good or completely stupid idea. Thankyou.

Why is everyone saying Josh got Jess out the game? Aug 10, 2017
She wasn't nominated by him, she lost the temptation competition.
He can't even vote.

What a flop of a season. 2 ejected. 2 walked.
But all worth it for 21 days of drama.
