So I am sitting here and it is way too late and for an old lady I should have been in bed hours ago..But, the boob tube is on and I am watching Gremlins...A movie that I actually saw in theaters. Some of you may of never heard of this movie since it was made back in 1984..LOL That said, I began thinking about how this movie might freak little people out and thought back to one of the first horror movies I watched..The movie was Fright Night and was made in 1985 and I was 11 yrs old and it scared the hell out of me. Recently, the same movie was on the tele and I watched it with my kiddo who is 13..And I'm watching it and can't believe I was actually scared witless. My kiddo just rolled his eyes and said it was so NOT scary he could not speak! I must admit since 1985 I have become a bit of a horror movie buff. I love anything with zombies. My fav movie being "Land of the dead".. Speaking of zombies, is it weird or just me that me and the kiddo actually have a zombie escape plan routed out? Seriously, when the zombie apocalypse comes, I will be prepared...Will you? The plan is to grab the baseball bat and the shovel, jump in our tank like Toyota Echo and head to Canadian tire to stock up on Zombie slaying materials... From there, not sure..
