The mini I played tonight. Hunger games! I got to final 2 out of 26 players but we both chose to vote ourselves to win so we both died 😂😂😂 no winner! It was so fun tho! Go watch @themichaelorear on twitch!
I joined this game entirely alone and no one in the game was a close friend of mine on tengaged so I worked day in day out to build those connections. I got to know people, asked them about themselves, I didn’t want to just be a game bot. These connections kept me safe up until final 9, at which point I survived my first poll.
Through most of the game I worked closely with Tyler, Callia, Manni, Isla and Greg on one side of the house. Yes I knew they premaded, but I took that into my own hands so they could never target me. I’d rather be with them, not against them at that point.
My vote on that side of the house was vital in keeping them safe as well as me. Manni was a counter several times but I voted with him to gain his trust through the game. Whilst at the same time keeping up my social game on the other side with people like Bray, Cam, Jon and making them believe that some of the middle players were flipping votes (when in reality it was me).
This level of social game cannot be said for my opponents. I was talking to everyone, all the time. No matter where they stood in the game or who they were aligned with. I didn’t lay back and let other people decide my fate. I did what I had to do socially to get here.
I did also try to chat a lot with people in the middle - SamSam, Owen, Nuggz, Joe, Emmett, Rose. A lot of these people were key components of my game because they never wanted to target me with the exception of you Owen!! I don’t know why! I tried so hard to make amends with you.
I only flipped on the ‘friends’ later in the game when I pushed through the set of Greg and Tyler at final 7, at which point my vote was vital to ensure they hit the block which they did.
I lied a lot to people like Cam and Bray and even Manni in this game and I came clean about all of it at final 7 when I flipped on Tyler/Greg because I wanted to adapt to the game and show them that I was willing to be honest.
Luckily in this game, people respected the honesty and we locked in together for F6. Isla and Greg should have gone up there but unfortunately Manni went up as he didn’t lock in and overslept. I was always thinking so many steps ahead to make sure I could figure out how to get the right people with me each round.
At final 5, I had Greg (spiked) and Isla locked in thinking Greg was staying but didn’t get on at day change to change it due to things going on in my life - oops! A definite mishap by me because it caused me to go up!
This game was messy, but not too toxic. I had a fun week and enjoyed it like how I did years ago, I didn’t think I could do that again.
I really hope you reward my gameplay here. I really do think I deserve this win. And I really want it! I know I’m against two lovely humans but I promise I’m nice too 🩵
