Halfwits turn from lovable underdog to cocky villain and Lisa becoming the outsider of the house are both fantastic storylines, plus Bea's slow reveal as a sociopath and the entire Noirin saga are pretty amazing as well.
I'm on week 9 and that fight between Lisa/Halfwit/Marcus/David was in my opinion Halfwit's complete turn into a villain, it was the climax of something that had been brewing since week 5/6 and it delivered on so many levels, plus this being juxtaposed with Hira eating a giant cupcake for five hours just made it incredibly hilarious.
I'm surprised, but I'm actually a huge Lisa/David fan by now, Bea is a great villain but I really really hate her, and Halfwit in that fight completely made me dislike him (which is fantastic, like really) plus Marcus/Siavash are becoming bigger knobs by the day, so from rooting for their little trumvirate in week 5, to switching sides and rooting for Lisa, shows how much of a big change in character this season has.
This season delivers on long term storylines for sure and these past two weeks have been on fire with the climax of the Suitors of Noirin storyline, to the continuation to what I perceive to be the big storyline of the season plus a lot of little fun side characters going on, like Charlie/Rodrigo, Hira and Dogface.
I get why it's not popular, because a lot of the characters feel really grimy and there's times when you freaking hate them and others when you love them, but this is fantastic television. #bbuk
