Welcome to Episode 2 of Xryis's Music Contest Season 2.
Once again I have to say as a whole yall killed it this week! Picking the Tops was hard and picking the bottoms wasn't easy. cullenhi did not submit so he was expelled and replaced by Callmethegoat . This ends the alternate phase of the competition. From now on if you miss a challenge you will go straight into elimination.

THANK YOU FOR THIS! This gives me everything i need in a song and a music video to boot! It brought drama, vocals, lyrics- this, this is my winning song and nothing honestly came close to this for me. I loved every aspect of this song! thank you
Bottom: LooseyLaduca - “King of Hearts” by Kim Petras 🅷🅴🅻🅻
I had high hopes at the beginning of this song, the chorus flops for me in its beginning, but does evens out by the end of it. This song took me on a roller coaster as I enjoyed parts of it, really enjoyed the beginning, but also really didn’t like other parts. Not many songs can send me on that journey, so thank you for that.
High: #FromAWindow - “Princess Going Digital” by Amaarae
Damn this is such a good song! Her vocals are pretty and she sounds innocent. I enjoyed the beat of the track a lot. It’s missing something though, for it to be a top track for me! thank you
Low: #niceboy_ed - Mecano by “Mujer contra mujer"
The voice was very pretty. it definitely sounds like a song from the 80s! I enjoyed it, it just didn’t match the energy of the other songs this round. thank you

It is a catchy and sweet song. a great voice... I like it when a subject is touched on in which any human being can feel reflected and he does so from a queer story. the video engages as if it were a movie scene.. great discovery

The level was good in this round does not mean it is bad but I did not find the queer essence here and it was one of the less solid and generic presentations in my opinion

All right Kono is awake and he came to play. In a round with so many strong songs, this song was in my opinion the most memorable. Her vocals and music are a mix of r&b and indie rock. The whole song was a chill trip and the ending was the cherry on top. Amazing job this week you are my Top.

Welcome to the competiton. This was a safe choice imo. I mean the song is super catchy. He's good at what it was. I just think this song falls short compared to every other submission lyrically and music wise. That is why for this round you're my BOTTOM pick.
High: #Thirteen - “Lipstick Lover” by Janelle Monáe
This song was so groovy and put me in an instant good mood. Similar to 'Princess Going Digital" , it got a little repetitve though I do appreciate the changes in tones and notes in Janelle's singing. I especially liked the digital sound of the music and the flow of her voice. She was giving me Lauryn Hill. I feel last week you were simmering but now you're one medium heat. Huge improvement.
Low: #3pi14159 - “So Close” by NOTD, Felix Jaehn, & Captain Cuts
The chorus is probably one of the catchiest this round. This is a very easy listen a song you don't skip but also not a song you'd die to play.
