A small Cylinder lands in the center of the ice rink, and the ice shatters revealing an ice-cold pond. The Cylinder opens and various items float to the surface in clear sacks. In order to get these items, the tributes realize they must risk hypothermia. PureEssence's legs dangle in the water already, from the position he landed after the blast. he rolls into the water and paddles out, grabbing a canteen, trail mix, and a small bag containing wires and a Net.
Oreo270 knows she cannot risk swimming in the cold water, but doesn't like her chances of staying out of the water. Kgunzrok asks her to wait here, and she wields her machete, defending herself. Kgunz jumps into the water, grabbing a bag of Jerky that floats in the water, a small bag with another syringe in it, and a canteen of water. Suddenly, LanaDelrey_ Tackles oreo from behind, smacking her elbow into the back of her head. Lana flips Oreo on her back and begins to strangle her. Oreo smacks Lana in the face with her Nub when Kgunz knees her Lana in the stomach, and pushes her onto the ground next to Oreo and stabs a sword through a thigh and into the ground. Kgun drops a bag. Lana screams in pain. Kgun takes his second sword and stabs it through the other thigh.
"Just like in Freshman science. I'm going to dissect the frog."
Kgun jumps down on top of Lana, ripping his dagger into the lower end of her belly, and dragging it all the way up to her rib cage.
BOOM
Kgun and Oreo run back towards 8th street, knowing that's the only place they wouldn't blow up if they were still alive. They reach the Middle of the street when the run into the clothing store.
WannaBeeFriends runs over after Kgun and Oreo fled the scene and searches Lana's body, finding her water and trail mix sitting there, a bag sits next to her body. Jallina15 and Seapoose jump out of the water after grabbing a loaf of bread and a spear from the pond. They tackle Wannabee to the ground, Jallina stratling wannabee's waist. Wanna slams her blow dart gun into Jallina's head, making her roll off her body, she stands up, twists around and smacks Seapoose in the waist making him double over in pain then smacks him in the back of the head and he falls to the ground, unconscious. She flips around, shooting a blow dart into Jallina's shoulder. WannaBee Then quickly runs back towards broadway with his items while Jallina wakes up Seapoose, worried about the sun setting.
#PureEssence climbs out of the pond. He shivers as he walks up to #Jallina, who whips around with #Seapoose's shotgun.
"Don't move, I'll shoot you" Jallina screams, ripping the blow dart from her shoulder, blood trickling down.
"I don't want to fight you. Aligning with what's left of the Careers would be great for your game. As would it benefit me as well. Let me help you carry him back to 2nd street."
Jallina lowers the gun and nods. When they get next to the body armor shop, the doors fling open.
"I'm getting light headed" PureEssence says, setting Seapoose's legs on the ground.
"Time to test this out I guess" Jallina says, grabbing her bottle back from Seapoose's bag. She sprays a good amount of the horrid smelling perfume on her body.
"What are you doing that stuff stinks" PureEssence wonders.
"I don't know, but as I take it, you died this morning dude. What's that mark on your shoulder?"
"Nothing," Essence covers it up. Seapoose wakes up screaming. She reaches around for her shotgun, but doesn't find it and panics.
"I can't trust any of you. i'm going inside find another place to stay" He reaches for the shotgun, and grabs it from Jallina's shoulder.
"Don't go in there!" Jallina reaches to stop Seapoose, but the doors close behind Him. Jallina begins to pound on the door.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO IN THERE" She starts to cry and back away. "I've got to go"
Jallina turns around, but PureEssence is now laying on the ground, his body bouncing around on the ground.
BOOM
Essence lays on the ground, his body starting to turn black. Seapoose screams are faintly heard just as the block explodes, sending Jallina flying through the air.
BOOM
She skids to a stop on the south end of the street, facing the cornucopia. Dozens of faceless people surround her, but they don't attack her. They just wander around, looking for something to do. She stands up, but she a shard of glass is stuck in her hip, a puddle on the ground. She rolls in the puddle, trying to save as much as the faceless scent as possible, seeing these creatures don't know she's there. She walks towards Broadway.
