WannaBeeFriends runs from the cornucopia, her backpack slung around her shoulders. She zones in on a tall building down Main path from the cornucopia, the street sign reading 'Broadway'. She walks down the brightly lit street, but the only sound comes from her footsteps. Taking a break from running, Bee still hears footsteps, but doesn't see anybody. Questioning her surroundings, Bee looks inside the buildings. It looks like people are standing in the lobby of every building, but only silhouettes can be made out of the dark rooms. The doors to the record store are locked but Bee tries anyways, shaking the doors ravishingly. The people inside don't move. Stepping out of the doorway, Padfoot holds her revolver to Bee's face.
"Don't move"
"Put that down, you don't wanna waste your bullets now, before we even get to play with them." Bee nods her head towards the record store.
"Who's in there?"
"I don't know, and I don't want to stick around to find out." Bee reads the time on the door.
"Looks like this store opens from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Doors open at dusk hun and I'm guessing, considering the circumstances, they aren't friendly. Kill me tomorrow if you want, but I wouldn't be so hasty if I were you." Padfoot puts her gun down and they begin to move up the street, looking inside every building, trying every door. In the middle of Broadway, the lobby of a money loaning place is lit up, the doors wide open. They walk up to the building, observing the hours. 6:01 a.m. to 8:01 p.m. The clock on the wall reads 7:50 pm.
"We have a little bit of time, lets see if there are any supplies in there. You first," Padfoot holds the gun towards Bee. She steps inside, opening her backpack. Inside the backpack is a mini blow-dart gun, 6 darts, water, and a vile of poison.
"There's nothing here. Let's go" Padfoot says, but then observes the time to be 7:59 p.m. and runs outside. The clock strikes 8 and she see's a flock of black figures start to fly up the road, she pulls out her gun and starts to shoot at them. Shooting one in the chest and one in the head, neither of them falling down. WannaBeeFriends grabs padfoot and pulls her inside just as the doors to the loan office slam shut. The beasts pound on the window with no faces, making no sounds.
Icebeast runs to the right of Broadway and makes his first left onto Block Six. This street is lined with auto shops, car lots, and auto part stores. Icebeast spots a few black silhouettes lined up against the window and doesn't like the look of it. He continues to walk down the street when he sees a gas station. He tries to open the doors, hoping there'd be some supplies in there, but the door is locked and the lights are off. He reads the time the store is open, 8 pm to 6 am. The clock on the wall reads 7:59 and he sees movement in the back. The clock flicks to 8 pm and the doors fly open, and many black figures tackle Icebeast and drag him into the store, his screams lasting no more than a few seconds.
BOOM
Pieguy555 runs down to Block 5 and takes a left down it's brightly lit sidewalks. The buildings down this street are telephone companies, electric companies and finally Pieguy walks down to the water supply building, which has one counter, and nothing else but a clock inside. He goes inside the building when the door slam closed behind him and he jumps. But then faceless creatures begin banging on the glass. He goes behind the counter and the banging stops. He looks behind the counter out the windows again but the creatures still stand there and begin to beat the glass again. They stop when he puts his head back behind the counter.
Seapoose and @Smuguy12 begin to run towards the right side of the arena, following the street signs to block one. XavierR83 comes up from behind and knocks them down. Seapoose takes a sharp left yelling for Smuguy to follow her, but he doesn't.
Seapoose walks down 2nd street. There are a few concrete shops that line the streets along with gun shops and sword shops. She walks to the windows to see a few pistols and shotguns along the back wall, but in front of them were black figures. She couldn't see their faces with the lights off. She backs away from the windows and heads to the sword shop where the same shadow people sit in from of Axes, swords, and Kukri's. To her left a brick shop is open. She heads inside and the doors slam shut. She tries to push the door open, but she cannot leave the store. Suddenly the faceless shadow people begin to bang on her door and she hides in the corner, trying to drown out the beating of their fists with her knees.
#smuguy2012 and #XavierR83 push their way down 1st street, passing doors to hair salons, tailors, and perfume shops, all with their lights off. Smuguy punches Xavier in the face who swings his sword cutting Smuguy's shin. He screams and suddenly doors to the shops fly open. Behind them an empty jewelry store is empty and they both make a dash for it. Xavier slams his sword through the back of Smuguy's knee. Smuguy falls to the ground and Xavier dives into the store just before the door closes. He stands up and witnesses many faceless people grab him and pull him back down the street while others begin pounding on the windows and doors.
BOOM
kgunzrok runs towards the left side of the arena and turns onto block eleven when he see's he's no longer being followed by another tribute. He gets smacked in the face with the end of an axe and falls to the ground when a sword is pointed at his throat.
"Please don't kill me" he screams as he looks into g1ng4's eyes. She chuckles and twirls her axe around, going to swing for Kgunz head when he slides out from under her and trips her. He begins to run down the street passing farmers markets and flower shops. There's a water supply store that kgunz glances at and g1ng4 tackels him to the ground, but he gets out of her grasp again. The doors to the water shop burst open and people start to chase g1ng4 and kgun. They see a pastry shop at the end of the street that doesn't have people coming out of it, but the streets between them are quickly filling with black figures. G1ng4 twirls her sword and it slices through the faceless people, but doesn't kill them, or cut them. They push their way through when kgunz breaks the crowd and goes into the shop. g1ng4's hand breaks through the crowd and a loud scream can be heard. Kgunz grabs it and pulls her inside the store just before the doors slam closed.
Jallina15 grips her backpack and starts to walk down the Third block, but the street sign reads Distrcit 3. The first building on her right is a computer store, the doors wide open. She walks in and the doors slam behind her. She fights the doors trying to escape, but it doesn't work. Sitting on the ground she opens her backpack and A bottle of water rolls out. A dagger lays on the ground also along with a bottle of perfume. The bottle is white with a black silhouette on the front. All of a sudden black silhouettes like the one on the bottle start to slam on the doors, making the windows rattle and Jallina starts to sob. She hides behind a desk and they stop.
lanadelrey_ wipes the blood off of her face and jogs down to block Ten. She see's a few small barns, all the doors closed. She looks in the windows as she walks buy and catches glimpses of animals between black pillars. She is trying to look through a window to see some horses when the doors fly open and she is grabbed by faceless people. She pushes them back and runs to the barn that's open across the street. She swings the doors closed behind her and is stuck in a barn full of cows, a dim light hangs from the ceiling.
tundra and Pureessence run to the left side of the arena and stop at block eight.
"What do we wanna do?" Tundra asks.
"Let's see what these streets are about. just rundown this street as far as it goes, it's gotta let us meet up somewhere. take the first left you can. I'm going to go down 9th avenue and take the first right, we'll meet up there. Good luck babe. Pureessence kisses her on the cheek and runs down 9th Avenue.
8th street is lined with clothing shops, tailor stores, and university frat house. Tundra walks down and sees there are many clothing stores that are filled with people, but the lights were off, and they weren't moving. She backs up and walks down the street, coming to a JCPenny that remains open and empty. Like usual. She walks in and the door slam shut. She walks around looking for vending machines, hopefully finding some water to drink
#Pureessence walks down 9th avenue. There are bread shops, bakeries, and a grain elevator that sits on the entire right side of the block. Pureessence watches a door creak open and the air fill with a bitter smell. She watches a flock of faceless silhouettes run towards her. She turns around, gripping her dagger, and see's more figures coming out of the bakeries. There is one bread shop that remains empty and she runs towards it, but gets closelined and pinned to the ground. She flips the creature off of her and rolls around back to her feet and dives into the store as the door slams shut, catching her pinkie finger in the door. She loses feeling in it and she knows that the door wont open for her so she cuts it off and wraps it up in some bags from behind the counter. A loaf of bread sits behind the counter as well and she starts to eat some, calming her nerves as the blood stops.
Oreo270 runs to block four and is closely followed by Simpizzle. Simpizzle manages to catch up to Oreo and tackle him to the ground when he gets another cut on the same arm from the machete. He punches oreo in the face when Espontaneo comes along and gives simpizzles bicep another slice with his machete. There are many bait and tackle shops that line the streets along with fish markets and net and cage equipment stores. Oreo gets up and pushes Espontaneo on the ground who loses his footing and lands on his sword, cutting his side open. When he stands up, his intestines slide out through his hip and he falls to the ground
BOOM
Simpizzle and oreo fight over the weapons when door next to them fly open and they scream. They look around and black figures start to fill the street. They grab Espontaneo's body and drag it off into the distance. Simpizzle grabs the sword and the trail mix then sprints up the road and is followed by oreo who grabbed the other machete and the mace. They jump through the doors to a net shop and watch as the faceless people try to get into the building.
snap walks along the sidewalks of 7th street looking through the window of wooden furniture shops and passing the tall buildings that have carpentry business names on the top. Carrot pops out of an alley way and drives the dagger into Snap's shoulder. HE jumps back and pulls the dagger out, pointing it at carrot letting out a fierce scream. The wooden doors to the lumber shops fly open and snap and carrot run inside the lobby of a carpenter shop. The doors close and carrot looks at snap. They scream and hold eachother as the faceless people emerge and bang on the glass. When they realize the glass cannot be broken they stand up and look at eachother.
"Sorry for trying to kill you earlier." Carrot says.
"Not as sorry as I am," Snap stands up and lunges at carrot, slicing her throat open and blood squirting all over his face. She slumps to the ground and blood pools around his feet. The faceless people begin to pound on the windows so hard they bend, but don't break.
BOOM.
