It's just that the Israeli government is responsible for far far far more Palestinian civilians dying than Hamas is for Israeli civilians. And I think you know and understand that
somebodyawesome let's be clear, being a victim doesn't justify perpetrating harm. A party is not a one dimensional victim who must be saved from pure evil if you're also out there killing people
Honestly you just don't have a problem with murder and you like to dress it up with all these excuses, either killing civilians is wrong or it isn't, this isn't an issue where you can be 50%
suit well what do you want them to do...? the whole point of everything that happened was a resistance to the decades of colonization, it was them saying "hey, we're not going to let you continue to occupy us without cost" im sad that people lost their lives but violence is the only thing that has worked for them in getting israel's attention, they've tried diplomacy many times it hasn't worked, and they've continued to be denied basic human rights in gaza, gaza is like a punching bag to them
i hate making this comparision cuz these are real people but do you think the people in the hunger games were going to defeat the capitol without violence? there is violence in every revolution, there has to be blood here for israel to listen that's all palestinians have been taught by israel over time

In terms of what individual Palestinians should do, if they feel safe supporting an alternative to Hamas then that would realistically be the most helpful thing for their situation
