and, really, what the conclusion everyone should be coming to is, is that we should probably be working our hardest to ban/limit the posting of sexual content on this website. porn is already bannable, has been, and is being taken very seriously which is great.
all the sexual blogs and people talking about fucking and getting fucked and dick pics and yadda yadda etc. (you get the gist) is setting the stage for the younger users of this website. they are getting increasingly exposed to older users speaking sexually and thinking that speaking sexually and interacting sexually (especially with these older users) is the standard method of communication.
what does anyone gain from talking about all this sexual shit on the public blogs page where there were, not too long ago, 13 year olds reading this content? yes the TOS has now upped the age limit to 16, but that is still under the age of consent (which honestly? is a weird legal term people tend to misuse in these discussions to defend creeps) in many countries, and regardless, still an impressionable age for very young people to be exposed to much older users using the community page like a little black book.
y'all NEED TO KEEP THIS SHIT to yourselves, or in private with your friends. nobody cares. dare i say we should start handing out warnings and short bans for this shit?
Plus despite the age increase to 16, so many users ignore the age limit anyway and used to join when they were 11. I can’t see a 13 year old being like “oh it says 16” and not join. I mean it’s still on them, BUT as you said 16 is such an impressionable age.
Pretty sure more than 90% of the people don’t even care to see that kind of content when it comes from absolute strangers (even if they find it amusing within their own friend group).
kindred7 yep, yep, exactly to everything you said. especially that last part- the people blogging like "Anyone wanna FUCK me?" only ever get responses from 1. their own friends 2. the weirdos who would probably be best kept off this site. nothing lost gettin rid of this
Slice ikr lmao and kids are dumb enough to think if their friends or someone who has a little more “power” than they do says that kind of crap, they should imitate the behaviour. It’s sad that you even had to write this out to explain to people when it’s common sense and basic courtesy to others. I’m glad you did though - even if one person learns from it, that’s something.
