I like group games a lot, and it really pissed me off to see them just stop working. But as group games got a lot more attention due to them getting broken, there are a few things about them that aren't so great. Here's my top 10
10. Inactive Players - Can you imagine what the Big Brother house would be like if 4/16 contestants didn't talk, play the comps, or didn't even vote in anything? Yea. That's about the gist of inacts.
9. "24 hour" challenges - The host says that every once in a while he'll post something that you have to be the first person to respond to. Except, chances are he'll post something every 20 minutes, so the game will be over within an hour or 2. OR, the host will post a total of 3 times, causing there to win by having the most points.
8. Any Poll Ever - Besides season 1 of Big Brother, the audience has never decided anything too major about the houseguests. There has never been a poll to decide who wins HoH, so why should there be one now?
7. Idol Boards - It's literally pick a number and hope you're lucky. The clues most of the time only lower the amount of numbers you have to choose from. There should be a better way to find an idol
6. Rigged Seasons or Games - I once played in a group game hosted by [I'm nice so I wont reveal. If you really wanna know who maybe I'll reveal later] and I ended up getting kicked out of the season because I nominated her in a completely separate game. The conversation ended up being:
[Anon]: You nommed me now expect hell in my game
[Me]: You can't do that that's rigging
[Anon]: You bet your ass I can. I can take away ur idol, give your whole tribe a penalty, give you "extra" votes
[Me]: This is BS, I'm about to expose you for what ur doing
[Anon]: Ok, I'll just say that you were rude to me and that I was kidding about the whole thing.
The sad part is after she kicked me out her season turned to shit cuz everyone was leaving because of the game being rigged
5. People Who Spam in Games - I'm not talking about challenges, just people who post the same stupid thing/its almost always a video in a game. You know who you are.
4. Butthurt Juries - I literally did nothing in a season of survivor once and I won because the person I was up against backstabbed everyone else.
3. Might As Well Mention It - The fact that group games just stopped processing posts. How the hell is that even possible?
2. Group Games That Literally Take The First __ People To Apply - If you seriously can't get more than 12-20 people to apply, you should really ask yourself how your group game is gonna get any more popular than it is now.
1. Seasons That Never Finish - Unless you DIED, there is no reason you should ever end your season before crowning a winner. If people aren't playing, give them a reason to play. If you're busy, find a cohost. If something happens, figure out how to resolve it. And the worst offense, which honestly I myself have done, is just being too lazy to finish your season. Just leaving it half finished.
