TSC 2019 Ranking: #40-37

40. SICKOTOY - You Don't Love Me (ft. Roxen) // Sent by QueenMichelle
TSC 375 - 3rd place, 94 points (12 points given)

This song is POWERFUL. It has a dark, moody atmosphere that Romanian club music has seemingly perfected. It's a sound that will also become more prominent in my top 40 list moving forward, so heads up.

39. Zara Larsson - All the Time // Sent by DanielKennedy111
TSC 358 - 7th place, 82 points (12 points given)

This was the bookies favourite following the semi-final reveal, but flopped in the final :( Zara has quite a few songs I like, but All the Time has probably topped that list. It's a little basic, but extremely catchy. I've even been listening to remix versions of it. The instrumental keeps me engaged throughout.

38. Bishop Briggs - JEKYLL & HIDE // Sent by ryan5676
TSC 374 - 10th place, 68 points (10 points given)

I don't get why people hated this. Most of the (apparent) Bishop fans in the group were highly critical of it, but that might explain why I liked it. I don't consider myself a Bishop fan at all so I went into this song expecting to hate it. I was completely caught off guard instead. Once it picks up at the 0:25 mark, I'm dead. Granted, I live for this kind of dark shit, and the proximity of Halloween at the time of that contest likely made me appreciate it even more.

37. Ailee - Room Shaker // Sent by CharlieBibi
TSC 361 - 2nd place, 114 points (10 points given)

Remember when this song was the winner for 30 minutes until Rita Ora snatched her crown away? Objectively speaking, Ailee probably deserved to keep her victory. Other songs could only dream to go off as much as Room Shaker does. It's a bop.
